Why is my Surfshark not connecting?

Why is my VPN not connecting iOS?

My VPN doesn't connect (it says: "Connection was not fully established, will retry in 60 sec"), but it has been working fine for over a year. I have just started using a new phone and a new network. I am on AT&T mobile (Android). Any ideas?

Turn off the VPN connection if you are connected to the net.2. Turn on the VPN connection manually from the Settings>>Slices of Apple>>More>>VPN Connections.

My settings. Quote: In settings there is no vpn section available. My router is an older router so it can't be that. I have not tried any other option in settings yet. Will see what happens after more testing.

How does your router protect your wifi? If it's a home router, did you buy a newer, better one when your old one stopped working? Most new routers have a "vpn" or "advanced" tab in the settings where you can select an open-source OpenVPN Server. You need the IP address of the server. The one used by AT&T should be able to be configured through your phone.

Why is my Surfshark not connecting?

I have a Surfshark 3G/HSPA modem and Ubuntu 13.

10. Whenever I start the Surfshark I get connected to my cellular network just fine but after about 15 minutes or so the Surfshark disconnects and says it cannot connect anymore (which is of course wrong). But the weird thing is that whenever I restart the modem I get connected again for another 15 minutes. So now it's been a few hours but I'm still connected to my network. How do I fix this?

Your connection has gone through three different hands. The first was probably AT&T, the second was some computer in the middle somewhere, and the third is you.

I believe you're right. Is there any way I can stop the modem from being a slave and be master (so that I control it)? And if not, how can I fix this issue? If your modem is on the same computer as your phone, you can get out of the "Slave Mode" by going into the device manager. Right click on the network card and then go to properties. Check the box for "Master".

Alternatively, you can uninstall the wireless card driver. Go to System Settings->Hardware->Additional Drivers. Uninstall the driver for your wireless card, reboot, and see if that fixes your problem.

If the above doesn't work, you need to change the settings on your modem to not automatically be in slave mode, or you could try rebooting it. However, I don't know how you would go about doing that. Maybe someone else here will help you with that.

You are correct in what you say, but I'm using an USB modem and my laptop is always plugged into an Ethernet socket. When I restart the modem the first time I get connected again, and when I restart the modem the second time I get connected again. When I restart the modem the third time I get disconnected again.

I tried to enter the modem settings and select "auto-master", but I just get the following message: The system has lost the internet connection. When I reboot the modem, I get connected again for another 15 minutes. The reason why I'm not getting disconnected again is because I'm not the only one using my broadband, so when I restart the modem I don't get disconnected again.
