How do I update my Netflix payment?
I bought a season of Family Guy.
My Netflix app shows I have more than 1 season of the show but when I go to pay for the rest of the seasons, it tells me I'm almost out of money and can't update my payment. Can anyone help?
My wife and I just subscribed to Netflix a few months ago and decided we wanted to watch some older TV shows. I was planning on getting Season 1 (which is around 10-15 minutes long) of The Office but I couldn't find it. All the episodes are there but when I go to add it to my queue, I click Update your payment and it doesn't do anything. When I click it again to refresh, it tells me that my account is nearly out of money and I can't update my payment. I tried contacting Netflix support with no luck. Do you think they have the show online somewhere? I don't want to be charged an extra fee or anything. Thanks!
How do I cancel my Netflix service and move to Hulu? I have only used Netflix once, to watch The Notebook, as part of my cheat way of watching the movie and am looking to cancel. I have a Comcast service (I was previously on Verizon FiOS, moved from Canada and never moved back), and I am not connected to any wifi access points. There is wifi access in the house, but it is either password protected (which makes my life difficult when trying to access these wifi hotspots - I cannot tell if it will work without putting in the password first), or very slow. How should I go about canceling this Netflix account?
My husband and I signed up for Netflix. We both have accounts for movies, sports and comedy (we aren't big fans of the other channels). In our search for movies (since we aren't a huge sports person), we discovered that the show Family Guy is popular among our friends. We thought this show was pretty good. It is rated family-friendly according to the MPAA, with a TV-14 rating (which is usually for PG).
How can I manage my Netflix account?
If you're looking to view or cancel Netflix online, we have a dedicated page on this site for this purpose.
For mobile users, visit the help section of the app and tap the menu button in the top left corner. Click on support from the menu that pops up and then scroll down to How can I change my account? To check your current viewing options, tap the My Account tab at the top right of the screen and then click Watchlist in the menu that appears. If you are looking for additional ways to manage your account, there is also a link at the top of the app that says Account, but you need to first select a Netflix account to get there. From there you will find options to edit billing info, payment methods, and more.
For more questions about the service or to report issues you're having, go to our support site. You can also try submitting an Help Desk ticket here on the website, if you haven't done so already.
As for why I can't watch something on Netflix anymore? We recommend subscribing to TV shows and movies to your plan on their premiere day. This way, you'll have instant access to any content available on the service at that time.
On the other hand, if you don't mind waiting for a week or so, you can skip right to the next episode of your favorite show. If you want to subscribe to content on a later date, you can always do so via the TV page on your account page. If you have a Roku streaming device and haven't done so already, you'll want to log into your account via the Roku. You can also watch TV shows and movies from the Roku Channel store, which can be accessed by tapping the channels button and selecting Add a Channel from the list that pops up. Once it's added, simply type in Netflix in the search bar, and then tap the arrow in the center of the box to find Netflix.
