How do I share my VPN from Android to PC?

Here is the story. We have a small private VPN service (VPN Service A) which will be used for accessing private networks. I used to use it on Windows machines but it does not support Windows 10, so I have to switch to an Android device. Now there is VPN Service A and my Android device. I'd like to share this VPN service from my Android device to the PC. It was OK when I was connecting to the PC (VPN service A with Android device in), but now, unfortunately, my PC (running Windows 10) says
No matching application found. There is no need to say more, I would like you guys to tell me why Android is not detecting my PC and how do I solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK the solution is: change the "use this device" setting on the VPN connection page on the mobile device. In Windows: Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi Network Security tab > Wi-Fi Networking Type dropdown list > Use network location for Wi-Fi hotspot. If that is set to "Automatic (Wi-Fi only)". Then the Android will always look for other access points instead of for your Android as a Wi-Fi hotspot. In case you need to share internet access between more than one PC/Android. You should consider a USB tethering and use it for all connections with Android, that way you don't need a fixed location. The phone and PC are both connected to the Internet through the tethered device.

Note the tethered device needs to have a USB port and it supports some connection protocols for tethering like Wifi-Direct or even Hotspot 2.0 In all cases your phone's WiFi needs to support tethering, too!
