How do I start a project on Appen?

Is Appen legit work?

I need to figure it out since I want to know for sure if you know what youre talking about.

Hi! I guess we all were confused by the Appen, especially since it has a free mode. There are also so many fake sites where people put up stuff that's not legit. I know this site is pretty old (at least 5 years), but I'm here because you have mentioned some great ideas here and you seem like an awesome person. How do you decide who to trust, what to watch for, and when to get skeptical? I have a problem with how easy it is to put together a website, then copy it and then make money off of it. I love your posts, in part because they are very easy to understand and provide tons of good info. My question: When we make images using the program in PhotoShop, do they automatically become a part of a specific website? If so, is it okay to use them as reference material for making a website? Like, can I take any image I made with the app and simply paste it on my website, or will it require further steps? Thank you for your help!

Hi, I love reading your blog (I follow it too). It's a great read, but I'm still confused about the Appen work. Could you perhaps address the following: 1. What's the difference between a Photoshop Workflow or a PSD? Is one just a standard PS document?

You say it's easy to make a website. If you make a WordPress website, does that mean it's already ready to go on the internet? How is this different from just having the website on your computer? I understand how this is different from just hosting your own website (although that's a great option as well), but I'm really just asking about the difference between making your own webdesign and making a simple website with a template or theme. Are there other options, as opposed to just having a wordpress account and installing a theme? Are they all built in to your blog somehow, meaning you just have to click "Publish" and it's done? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, I'm super new to this!

How do I start a project on Appen?

When you register for a free Appen account, you will be able to login to your account and access the My Projects menu.

Click the Create a project button to create a new project or the Edit project button to edit an existing project. Your projects will be automatically saved under your Appen account and can be accessed at any time on the Project tab.

How do I upload images or videos? Simply drag and drop files into the desired area. You can use the Files drop-down to browse your desktop. Please note that uploading images can take a while.

How do I add a link to my post or page? Click the link icon, then click the Add link button on the right side of the page. Can I add a page or post to my profile? No, you can only add links to pages or posts that you have made in your project. Can I access or edit my existing project? Yes. Click the project name in the left-hand navigation bar. You will be redirected to the project home screen where you can view and manage all the content you have uploaded to your project.

Can I change the design of my project? You can use the tools on the design screen to help you edit the design of your page or post. Click the Design tab and the text editor will open.

If I am unable to download or view my project, what do I do? First, make sure your project is not behind the Appen Cloud Firewall. If you are still unable to download your project, please contact us by sending an email to support@appen.com.

I downloaded a project to Appen but it's not visible in the My Projects list. What should I do? For some projects, Appen may have encountered an error during the process. When this happens, the error message will be shown in the Appen Dashboard.

As a result, the content of that project will be shown in the Appen Dashboard. To see your projects in the My Projects list, please close the Dashboard and log back into your Appen account.

I created a project but I can't see it on my project page. What do I do? In addition to uploading content, you can also add pages or posts to your project.
