Is it safe to use free proxy?

Proxy Research do they require username and password? I usually use free proxies, but some of them are asking for Username and Password. Is it safe to use a free proxy service?

Even if there are no problems in theory, you should always check the terms of service of any (web) service. Yes, free does not necessarily mean without any constraints. If you know about that, there should be nothing to worry about. Otherwise: Don't gamble.

What you need is to look at what's on the bottom of that page and decide whether you agree with them or not. Also check the license of the web app, like if it requires usage of their software/daemon/whatever.

How to add proxy to Python script?

I need a Python script that is continuously adding some products into a web store for selling. Unfortunately the web store needs to have a proxy so the client can only use this proxy IP endpoint.

I want a Python method that does not make the code slower but redirects the client to the correct proxy IP endpoint. I will need to wait a few seconds to get a response or at least until all the client has timed-out.

The Python script will be running on the web servers server only. The web store I want to use is MaxMind.com

H = urllib2.urlopen("") Note that Google displays a "Don't activate this proxy in your browser" message, but it always works fine.

As I mentioned before, on my country facebook refuses working in case your browser request web form fields with password that the FB thinks are from some spambot and this not a valid request to connect. (clone website, steal source, revenue from one IP.)
