How do I get Google to stop blocking apps?
We would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below with your suggestions for improvements. ? Hi there. In the App Store (Apple App Store), a blacklist of apps is created by Apple, and apps that they blacklisted are unable to be listed or downloaded on their devices. We would love to improve the quality of our app in the Apple App Store and get it removed from the blacklist.
But we can't find the place where they have an option to contact them to ask to be removed. If this is just for our app, then it's probably just because we haven't made any submission changes since it was added to the blacklist. However, if you'd like to be removed, please let us know! The App Store Submission Process. After submitting your app to the App Store, you will likely receive an email notifying you that it was approved. This email should include the App ID that you provided during the Submission process. If your App ID was rejected, please do NOT resubmit!
When your App ID is rejected, Apple may ask for a reason why the App ID was rejected. In the email, please provide them with a brief reason why the App ID was rejected.
Please make sure to read the guidelines as well. The Apple App Store Review Guidelines are not something that is easy to understand or follow. If you simply read the guidelines and then submit your app, the app will probably be rejected.
For example, you may think that you are only required to test your app in the iOS Simulator. However, according to Apple: Apps that don't support iPadOS will be rejected when submitted to the App Store. You will not be able to submit apps that contain content rated 13 and up. All apps will need to contain a copyright notice that includes the developer, creator and company.
Why has Google blocked an app?
The most common reason for blocking an app is due to Terms of Service violation. Terms of Service (TOS) are the rules that developers and users agree to abide by when building and using apps in the Google Play Store. If you develop a new app, please make sure you read and agree to our TOS as this may help to avoid a blocked app in the future.
We also offer a developer agreement which has information about how our Developer Agreement applies to your apps. You can learn more about our Developer Agreement and how it applies to your apps here.
What happens when I get a blocked app? If you get an app blocked from Google Play because you've violated the TOS or Developer Agreement, you'll get an email in the app details screen: Here are some tips on how to resolve your TOS violation: Make sure you follow our TOS and Developer Agreement. We suggest that you contact us in the first instance so that we can provide you with support. We will review your case and determine whether your app should be reinstated or if there is a need for further action.
Applies to non-commercial apps only. If you have a non-commercial app that was wrongly banned or removed from the Play Store, please reach out to us here.
If you can prove that your app meets the requirements of the TOS and you want us to lift your ban, we'll manually unblock your app. Please note that your app won't be able to go live in the app store until we confirm that it complies with our TOS and Developer Agreement.
Make sure you don't violate our Terms of Service. If your app doesn't meet the TOS, please make sure you: Remove any references to Google, Google or Goggle in your app's description. Remove any references to Google, Google or Goggle in your app's documentation. Remove any references to Google or Google in any other forms of marketing (eg, promotional banners or videos). You can submit a request to unblock your app if we've made a mistake. Please note that unblocking an app won't remove any ads within your app.
How to turn on access for less secure apps for Google gmail account?
I use gmail in my office, for both personal and professional account. For the personal account I never use less secure apps, because they are quite secure (and I don't want to get hacked). However, for the professional one, I need to use it all the time, and some apps such as Skype and the Chrome browser are not secure enough. I can change the security settings to access less secure app, but can I force gmail to access them all the time?
Yes, this is possible. On your Gmail Account Settings page, click on "Access your Gmail from devices". There you will see "App permissions", click on the drop down menu of that, and select "Any app on this device".
After clicking on the "Apply" button, go to the Apps page and you should see the apps that have been authorized to your account.
