Which streaming stick has the most free channels?
The Streaming Wars are on and there are a bunch of new products coming out this year.
As a cord cutter looking to stream more content without paying extra for it, I've started to test out all of these devices.
The first thing I did was list out what I consider to be the most popular free (as in non-cable) content and then did a comparison between them. So what's in the top five? Well, let's find out.
While most people don't pay attention to live TV streaming, a couple of channels alone make this product worth a look. The NBC Live channel has around 1.7 million viewers, while CBS and Fox each have around 726,000. It might not seem like a lot of viewers for two broadcast channels, but I've always enjoyed watching shows on The CW before they became CW Seed. There were way too many episodes to watch when they were all broadcasted one channel. Now, we get to watch all of them!
You also get access to all of the Roku Channels including: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora, Crackle, PBS, CW Seed, ESPN, FOX, CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, TNT, FOX Sports, AMC, BBC News, CBS News, Discovery Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, HGTV, Animal Planet, OWN, CBSN, NFL, NHL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WGN, MLB, MLS, NHL, CNN, E!, BBC World News, Discovery Science, and much more. You can find out more about the new service on Apple's website.
What free streaming service has the most channels?
The big question facing cord cutters is whether to subscribe to a pay TV or a free streaming service.
Cord cutters have to decide which service has the most channels and they're not always sure if they're making the right choice.
There are plenty of pay TV streaming services out there, but few have been in the market for quite as long as Sling TV. The company launched way back in 2026 and has been a streaming service leader since then. Now, Sling TV is on its seventh major version, which is bringing a slew of new features and improvements.

Does Amazon have a free streaming service?
Amazon is well known for its video service that has both free and paid options.
The free version, Amazon Prime offers more than 35,000 titles at no additional cost to Prime members. However, the service is limited to the selection available on the Prime Video store.
If you're looking for a better collection of movies to add to your collection you might want to consider picking up a subscription to the Sony Crackle streaming service. Crackle has more than 25,000 titles for you to choose from on its streaming service. You will have access to a bigger variety of movies than you'll find on the Prime Video store.
Subscriptions to the streaming services are cheaper than buying a disc or a digital copy of the movie. If you subscribe to the Sony Crackle service you can watch as many movies as you want on your Amazon Fire TV without having to pay for each individual title.
Amazon Prime Streaming Channels. Below is a list of the best subscription streaming services that offer over 15,000 movies and shows. You will find a list of channels on each of these streaming services. You can search the list by genre, by channel name, or alphabetically.
Netflix - Free Streaming Service. Netflix is available for all smart TVs including Sony TVs. If you go to the Netflix section of the Sony Fire TV home screen you'll find all of your titles organized into categories like Action and Comedy.
The Netflix app for the Fire TV has a number of useful features that can make the experience more enjoyable. You can view trailers before you watch a movie, you can adjust the quality of your viewing experience, and you can pause and play the movie at any time. If you see a movie you like but you don't want to pay for it you can download the movie for later. You won't find every title on their catalog anywhere else. In addition to the standard selection of Crackle videos, the service offers original video series that have a larger focus on sci-fi or action than the regular catalog.
