How do I reassign ownership of an iPad?
What is the correct procedure for selling and receiving the cash for my iPad on line? (For a few years I have had to leave my office to sell or receive the cash. How do people do it electronically?).
Is there a way I can keep my personal email address when I sell the iPad to be used as soon as it is sold? What happens if I send emails with it while I use it at home and then sell it on line with the same email account? Will these emails be stored in my "Sent" folder on my email and they will show up in my account once it is sold? How can I retrieve them even if it shows that I have sold it. Does Apple need to approve this or is there a way I can bypass that and simply sign it on their website which I believe only allows signing in with the Apple ID's I am authorized to use. Is there anything wrong with this as we can't log in using different email addresses? Or, does Apple only allow signing in with one login for all devices and will not allow me to use my personal email address to access it? It looks like the owner is able to sell or buy the ownership of an iPad on line and not take it out of state. If you sell your iPad over the Internet to another online purchaser who lives out of state it appears that they don't need to send it directly to the state where they live. It looks like that the transaction goes directly to the seller or buyer from all states. If this is true and a state representative says something different maybe that is where the problem lies. How do you feel about this?
How do I factory reset my iPad for a new owner?
If you want to restore the iPad back to factory default settings, you may be able to do so with the new iOS 9 update.
Once an iPad is updated to the new iOS 9 operating system, it can be factory reset. A factory reset will remove all settings and data, along with any apps that have been added on to the device, leaving it as fresh as the day it was bought from Apple. If you're a parent, or otherwise a big believer in the notion of 'just wipe it clean', then the factory reset is the way to go.
The factory reset option may also be offered in-store by an Apple store when your iPad has stopped working properly or if you've bought a replacement iPad from someone else. A simple 'reset' button will appear on the device after the screen has turned on.
However, when performing a factory reset, there are some things you should consider before giving up on the data on your iPad. Is a factory reset really necessary? The data on an iPad is completely portable, so you shouldn't need to risk losing any important files by trying to do a factory reset. While it's possible to save files to the iPad using applications such as Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive and Box, it can take a bit of time to download everything over Wi-Fi, which isn't always practical.
There's also the problem of being able to see any files you upload over Wi-Fi without being connected to the network. Most applications use the standard HTTP protocol, meaning that uploading any type of file, such as photos or videos, can slow down the Wi-Fi speed of the entire device. If you lose access to Wi-Fi, then even saving files over Wi-Fi will take far too long, which could be a huge inconvenience.
It's possible to copy some types of data to a mobile device by connecting it to your computer via a cable. You can download any files and folders from your iPad to your computer and then sync them again when you're online. However, this does limit how much data you can save to the mobile device.
What kind of files can be saved? You'll have two options when it comes to storing files on your iPad: saving the files to the iPad itself, and moving them to a cloud storage solution. Before choosing a cloud storage app, it's important to know the limitations of each application.
How do I remove previous owner from iPad?
On my iPad, I installed apps from a previous owner.
So now when I turn on my iPad, I see a message that says "previous owner". I don't know the password. How do I remove the previous owner?
Answer: Remove previous owner from iPad. I'm assuming you have already set up and activated iCloud. If not, how did you transfer the contents of your laptop to your new iPad? If it was just through iTunes, there's no reason to be worried about the previous owner. He/she can log in to his/her own account through iCloud if they turned it on before you did, then disable the previous owner. If you want to transfer the content back from the new iPad to the old one, follow the steps here.
Hi.e. The only way to remove previous owner is to restore the iPad with new user. In this case it can be deleted all data and applications.
I have tried to reset the device several times and it doesn't delete everything. It only removes some pre-installed apps and information.
Answer:Remove previous owner from iPad. This sounds like you have forgotten the pass word. If you can't remember it then there is no way to remove the previous owner without your account details. That information will need to be re-imported to your new iPad.
