The only problem I had was with one of the streams not playing on my Roku. The streaming app is the one that is free, and the Roku is not free.

But when you get a stream, it's like a cable stream, and the channels are the same as cable. Sling has many more channels than I'm used to. I did try to access the Disney Channel, but it doesn't seem to work. The "Disney channel" icon is just a gray box on my Roku. I can access the Nickelodeon channel, though.

This is what you need to know: You get the Sling TV streaming app. Your Roku will need to be connected to the internet. Your Roku will need to be set up to connect to the Sling TV streaming app. This is easy to do, and is the same as connecting a new device to any other streaming service.

The Sling TV streaming app will automatically launch on your Roku when you power it on. If you are connected to a TV, the Roku will switch to the Sling TV app when you turn the TV on.
