Do VPNs still work for Netflix reddit?
If so, does the Netflix app still work for them?
I have an account there with multiple streams active and have been trying to stream shows via my iPad for about a week now.
If not, is there another way to make it work? Netflix can still get the data from the Amazon service? If that's the case, how can I use that to watch the movies? Can I just do it via a proxy? Do I just have to use their website? Why does it say that I need to buy/signup for something when all I want is to watch tv shows via the app? EDIT: I'm going to use this thread as a kind of wiki on how to access the Netflix library with a VPN (and how it works or doesn't work). I was able to use a VPN to access Netflix, but only one stream at a time, since the other stream was blocked by the VPN. Doesn't that suck, since you can only access one video at a time? I thought there might be some way around that? In short, yes. Most likely you have to use the mobile app.
If you want more, you'll have to either buy a 4G device, or find another way to access it. I have been trying to watch Netflix via their mobile app on my iPad with my 4G-enabled modem for a few months now. The first time I tried, I only got to the front page of their content, and after hitting refresh, it said that I needed to log in, which I didn't want to do.
Is there a way around this? So, I did some more research and found that if you use a VPN, you can "surf" the Internet anonymously (kinda like a proxy or "tunnel"), and then they will allow you to stream using the iPad app (or whatever device you are on). I had a free trial of NordVPN which I haven't used much, but I've been using TunnelBear (which works via a browser plug-in) for the last week, and so far, so good.
I found several threads online about this (including this one), and the only way around it seems to be to use the app. One of the most common threads is this one, but it didn't work for me the first time.

How are some websites getting blocked on Netflix? When using a VPN you often get access to lots of different servers. In theory, when switching from an open wifi network to a private VPN server, you can continue doing your work undisturbed as a VPN will help hide your location.
However, sometimes things still get blocked even if you're connected via a VPN. This happens when your device uses a DNS server which points to the wrong website.
So if you're a Netflix user and have noticed that some sites are not accessible - it could very well be your DNS settings are pointing to the wrong IP address. If you still want to visit such blocked content, you could change your DNS settings or visit the website on a mobile device where it doesn't block content. Blocked websites on Netflix outside the U. As we said, this may only affect U. Netflix users. But if you're not in the country it may still prove useful to use VPN.
This may sound strange, but if you're interested in watching anime or other foreign titles, it may be a great idea to try using VPN as that could prove vital. What VPN reddit?
