How do you unblock this app is blocked?

Is there any way to unblock an app that is blocked? I have a friend's phone that has been blocked for the past 3 days. We are trying to figure out how to unblock the app, but we are having trouble.

We tried: 1) Settings>Security > Apps> Blocked Apps. 2) Logging into the phone with the account and typing in "unblock". The phone's owner says that they can't figure out how to unblock it either. So my question is: Is there any way to unblock this app that we can't figure out? The phone is not rooted, so you will not be able to do anything with the blocked apps using the standard tools. You may be able to unblock the app by accessing the phone with a Windows PC, but this is likely to be a very manual process. I suggest trying one of the following:

Use a mobile operating system like iOS or Android that allows you to easily unblock apps. Have the phone owner unblock the app by going to Settings>Security> Apps> Blocked Apps.

How do I unblock an app on Android?

I am unable to uninstall an application on Android that was a paid download. I was charged for it and I can't uninstall it, neither can it be deleted from the apps store either. Any ideas?

3 Answers. 0 votes. You have several options, but none will really solve your problem if you're having trouble just uninstalling. Let me explain: There are several ways you can force the app to uninstall itself using various methods. There are various ways to download new applications, install them, and in some cases, remove them, via ADB. Unfortunately, the latter involves bypassing your phone's OS and potentially modifying your phone.

The three main ways to perform an actual uninstall of an app you've installed is to restart your phone, reset it, and do a factory reset. Restarting will re-boot the phone, the factory reset will kill off everything on your phone (apps, settings, data), then when you get back up and running, you'll have a clean slate. This is only for those who like doing things by hand and are comfortable with their phone getting dirty. A factory reset can also solve some odd problems you may be having with your device such as a missing SD card or broken power button.

If you're going to take the plunge and want to re-install the app or remove it, I suggest you start with an app called ADB Installer by XDA Developers and use that to install an older version of the Android SDK to ensure you have the correct version of ADB included with your Android SDK. Once you have the right version, I would either reinstall that app via ADB Installer to check if it successfully installs before deleting it, or just do a factory reset and see what happens. You might be lucky. If not, then try uninstalling it via adb and see what happens. If that's no luck, you'll need to wipe your SD card which is more involved, so I suggest sticking to one of the first two methods.

When you're ready to proceed, follow the steps below. This will wipe everything on your phone. The instructions were written for Windows, but it's pretty much the same thing on Mac/Linux. Note that we are using the terminal with the command line interface of your system. Some require a "sudo", others do not, it varies depending on which distro you're using.
