As an indie dev, what would you do in this situation?

I mean, with the lack of any other good AI solutions for Unreal Engine, I could go through a lot of stuff to make some generic garbage collector that would collect a lot of entities for me, but all of those solutions are paid and usually overcomplicated. So what would you suggest? Edit: If you like my ideas, please donate so I can continue to do work and create games! This is a classic problem in game development, where you have an enormous number of uninteresting tasks, and limited time to get anything done. I'll list my suggestions, so you can decide how to proceed. These solutions assume UE4, which is Free, has a version > 3.0.

Option Use garbage collection. So, you just create several containers that hold your objects (as pointers or smart pointers), and have a destructor function on them. Everytime you add a new entity (or other class that supports garbage collection), you just add it to the container that your 'Collector' object uses. When you want to remove an object from the list, you just call the destructor function and that will be taken care of. (Yes, I know this sounds really easy, but if you are doing basic game development, this should be one of your first uses for the Garbage Collector).

So, when you want to get rid of an object, just put it into the destructor function of the container, it will automatically remove it from the list. It's really simple and it's fast, even on PC hardware, as long as you give enough virtual memory to the container. Also, this solution allows you to have unlimited number of objects in memory, as long as the collection memory overhead is minimal. Of course, it's also simple enough that anyone could implement it, and likely has done it already. (Unless you didn't mention the source language). As I said, though, you don't need to bother with a source language.

We have a vision for it, but the cost to execute is prohibitively high. There are many ways we could make this happen, and we're actively exploring all of them. One way is to lower the barrier to entry and democratize it so that everyone can have access to a good cleaning experience. Another way is to raise the price of the product until it's competitive with human labor. Either way, it's going to be a while.

What we're doing is taking the OpenAI Five, the world's best AI agent trained using OpenAI Five, and using that same infrastructure to add an easy-to-use interface to create your own custom autonomous agent. That way, you can now experiment on your own without having to learn the deep neural networks from scratch and without having to buy a bunch of hardware. This is a demonstration of creating your own AI Janitor that runs with a very basic and incomplete interface on a single CPU server. This could easily scale up to much more powerful hardware! There are three parts to this article.
