How to find a Samsung phone not registered?
I have a Samsung I9300 unlocked phone.
It was my husbands phone. He's lost it and we can't find it. I tried to register the phone with Vodafone, but the phone isn't found. How can I find it?
Any help is greatly appreciated! What did he do to it? It has probably been dropped and broken and is now in a landfill. He just lost it. We have no idea where it went.
So what do you think he's done to it? If it was at his work then he's done nothing to it. If it's at his home then you're fucked. So do a bit of research before you begin.
We've had it at his home and at his work. We've tried all methods. We even put an ad in the paper for him. He's lost it and we're clueless.
Why is Find My Device Not Working on Samsung?
I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4, and when I try to use "Find My Device" on the phone, it asks me to update the phone software.
Why is this happening, and how do I fix it? You need to update the software of your phone. If you don't have the update, you will need to connect your phone to the computer and download the update from the internet.
The following solution will only work for Samsung devices, because this is the standard solution for them. To find your device, do the following: 1) Press the "menu" button on the phone. 2) Scroll down to the bottom and select "My device". 3) Select the tab that says "Find my phone". 4) Scroll down and press the "find my phone" button. 5) Follow the instructions and press the "Next" button. 6) Enter the email address that you want to be notified about the device, and press the "Send" button. Note that this solution won't work if your phone has a locked screen. This means that if you press the "Menu" button, the phone will only display the message "No network connection", or "No SIM card inserted".
There is another solution that will work for locked phones. This is a simple solution that will work even if you don't know the password.
This solution will work if you have Samsung stock software on your phone, and you don't have any customizations or apps installed. Connect the phone to the computer, and open the "Settings" menu in the phone. Go to "Wireless and Networks". Tap on "Network" and tap on "Wi-Fi". Enter the name of the wireless network you want to connect to. If the wireless network is password protected, tap on "Password". In the next screen, enter the password of the wireless network. Tap on "Wifi." Select the "Find My Device" option. Follow the instructions and select "Next" button. Note that this solution won't work if the phone is locked. If you want to continue using "Find My Device", you will have to unlock your phone.

Can you track a Samsung phone that is off?
I just installed a Samsung phone that is currently off.
I have the latest firmware version on it and no contacts or messages are stored on it. If I turn it on I can see what happened. If I turn it off, and then turn it back on, it says the battery is charged and I should turn it off if I don't want it to drain. I tried going through the main menu and doing a Factory Reset, but when I turn it on it just loads the start up screen again. What can I do to get the phone to sync with my account?
You will need to do a hard reset. This will delete all of your data from the phone. The phone will then reboot to the factory default. After the reboot you will need to re-set up your account to match the settings you had on the phone before you removed it from your account. This is not a simple process as it will take awhile for the phone to sync with the account once it is done.
