Is spark available in my area?

In my area only have the basic services.

Cable (optimum), internet, and phone. What's so good about this? Why should I pick this option instead of paying the extra 3 or 4 dollars to get the add-on option of cable or an extra phone line? Does it really make that much difference?

I would think in areas where a lot of folks have already subscribed to basic services it would be easier to push out the services that are actually needed. If you can't have voice over high speed broadband, why push down the people who already have those services? I guess the question is, should it matter if one has the added benefit of cable service over someone with only landline and internet. Ask a Question

Why would anyone sign up for spark when they have already gone through the hassle of signing up for the basic set. Is there something special about your area that gives you that extra benefit or is it just a rumor that spark has more features? You have a local service monopoly in your area. It will probably be very easy to sell the customers on a pay as you go deal without them knowing the difference. That will mean that there are no contracts, and if you don't like the service, then you have one last chance to go and change it to another provider. With the current competition in the market it won't take long for someone else to come and offer the same deal.

A lot of people here on Spark are having trouble trying to explain this. Their whole point is that you can pay as you go.
