The first thing you want to do is use the Power Query Service Application.

If you have a free edition of Office 365, it will be found in Excel (Tools > Options > Data Tools > Manage) and under the name Microsoft Analysis Services. There's no "Add-Ins" button anymore in Excel 2026. You have to use the "Options" button under File. It works for me.

JbendableFeb 8 '14 at 18:47. You are right, there's no "Add-Ins" button in Excel 2026. So the way I've described it is the only way to add an Add-In from Office 2026 or earlier versions. If you have a newer version of Excel, you will have to find it in Manage and add it as an option.

The link in my answer will give you the option to click Add-ins and you'll see it there. I assume you didn't install Excel with Office 365 Pro Plus which would have given you the Excel tab.

Excel 2026 does not have the tab anymore. You still can follow the answer posted by @jbendable (except there is no Add-ins button anymore). Here's what you can do:

Open the options and search for Power Query. Add it from the "Manage" tab. That's it! In case you don't know how to search for Power Query, here's a link that explains how to search for it. This will give you the option to add it from within Excel or from the web.

The only downside is that Excel 2026 doesn't have the tab anymore. However, you can still follow the second part of my answer that will give you the way to get the new Power Query feature.
