How do I turn on Zen VPN?

Zen VPN offers a number of ways to set up your VPN. All the ZenVPN tutorials take you through how to create an account and how to get connected, so this page only talks about where you can get help on advanced configuration issues.

When you launch the Zen VPN app, you'll see a list of available networks. Tap the network you want to connect to and tap the name of the network (or click the network to open its information). PPTP and L2TP/IPSec. The options for PPTP and IPSec are similar to those for the protocols in general, and we'll use these protocols as examples in the following sections. Connection Mode. Choose Connection mode to specify if the VPN connects automatically when you launch the app, or if you must launch the app and then connect to a VPN. If you choose Automatic connection, Zen VPN will attempt to connect to a VPN when you launch the app. If this is unavailable or unsuccessful, you'll be shown the Connect to VPN screen again.
