How to enable Dictation on Google Chrome Mac?
Chrome is one of the most used browser.
And there are lot of features on Chrome which have become very popular among the internet users. This includes the voice recognition feature which has been announced in the recent Google's I/O.
The Google I/O 2025 was held on May 17, and it was held at the Mountain View Convention Center in California, United States. During the event, Google introduced the future Google Assistant and Google Cloud Platform. Google also revealed some new Google apps, such as Google Keep, and Google Play Movies & TV.
One of the newly introduced Google apps is Google Dictation. Users can now dictate texts using Google Dictation on Mac Chrome. You can try it for yourself. You will find it in the microphone icon at the top right corner of the Google Chrome browser. Just click on the microphone icon and you will be able to see the screen below.
If you want to enable the feature then you need to do the following steps: Open up Google Chrome browser. Click on the microphone icon. Select Enable Dictation. You can enable the Dictation feature for your Google Chrome browser by clicking on the microphone icon and selecting Enable Dictation. If you want to disable it, then you can simply select Disable Dictation.
You can do the following things by enabling the Dictation feature of Google Chrome. Google Chrome will automatically type what you say. You can change the speed of the typing. You can enable the background mode for the text-to-speech conversion. You can even use Google Chrome to dictate messages on WhatsApp. How to use Google Chrome to dictate texts on WhatsApp? Open up WhatsApp. Click on the mic icon and start dictating a message. What happens if I disable the Dictation feature on Google Chrome? If you disable the Dictation feature on Google Chrome, then you will not be able to use the Google Chrome to dictate messages.
