Does Google have 24-7 customer service?

This is a tough one for me, as I've only had experience with one company that goes beyond 24-hours a day.

That company's customer service was excellent (I could get a hold of a representative within 30 seconds of calling), and the support staff seemed like real people. Another company I dealt with (before they were acquired by another company) was much less customer friendly, and took at least a day to answer a call. Is Google different? Has it improved? Is it hard to reach anyone? Let's start with the easiest problem you'll ever have.

Google Maps has lost our house. It's only an orange pin in the middle of nowhere, but somehow, it doesn't look right. I found the address on Bing Maps. I have saved it to my contacts. Google Maps just won't tell me where I am.

I called their help number and asked if I can speak with someone about my missing house. As soon as I described what happened, the very nice woman who answered told me that I have not given her any information and she had no clue how I could reach my home from anyplace else.

I said that I would prefer to talk to someone who knows the geography of the area than her (and I think she got the point). She tried again, this time to tell me that I have a new problem (she's a real good listener I guess). And yet, she couldn't even tell me how to contact the local police department.

I have no idea how I ended up on the same line with Google/YouTube/etc. But this was my first brush with a company that has less than 24-hours a day customer service. I'd rather have someone call me back at 6am than be put on hold for two hours.

I can always call my credit card company if I'm in a pinch (not really), but I don't feel safe having this kind of a problem lying on my shoulder for the next twenty-four hours. I went online and checked their help page, and they do provide an option to check a location by entering a latitude and a longitude, but since I have not used Google Maps for a long time, I don't have any recollection of which map option provides that option.
