I have a Roku 2 player and I do this on my laptop using the IPTV website and its quite easy. Roku is much better if you are already subscribed to netflix and HBO and that way you don't need an additional box to get those channels you want or any other way but I use the Roku app as it is much easier and faster. You can go to a website called IPTV where you will find a list of all the free and paid tv channels and also the Roku apps. If you are not subscribed to anything I would suggest signing up for amazon prime so you have an additional subscription to use.

Yes I agree but I'm asking if someone would create a list so that it's clear that most are free but that you need a Roku account. It may even best to have some form of indication of which ones require a Roku account and which ones are completely free. If there was just a short simple post which lists what comes in free and which requires a Roku account it would be much easier.
