Why doesn't Surfshark work on iPhone?

I have been using Surfshark on my iphone and I really want to be able to use it.

I'm not a big user of the apps but I used it for the last 3 months or so to surf my way through some content that I got. Now when I tried to use it this morning it just does not load at all, not even the app icon. It's been a while since I played with it so I'm not sure if something happened, or maybe I missed something? Please help. Thank you.

Re: ? I'd say there's a few things that might be wrong: 1) Are you on a wifi network? If you're on a wifi network, chances are Surfshark is having issues connecting to the network. I've had trouble connecting to the open wifi networks at airports and hotels with Surfshark before.

2) Is your phone model supported by Surfshark? Here's a list: 3) Are you using a non-standard device port, such as Lightning? In that case, you're going to have to contact Surfshark support. They don't provide support for a great many non-standard ports, and I know they don't have much experience with them.

4) Do you have the latest OS update on your iPhone? If you do not have the latest OS update, Surfshark may be having issues connecting to the network. 5) Do you have other software running on your computer (eg anti-virus programs, proxy settings)? Surfshark is usually able to work with other apps running in the background, but if you have any anti-virus programs or web proxies set up on your computer, then that can interfere. 6) Do you have an ad blocker? This can also interfere with Surfshark, if you're using an ad blocker that filters certain website domains from the iPhone's DNS cache. So if you have an ad blocker set up, you might have to contact Surfshark support.

7) Do you have any other network software running on your computer (eg another browser, email program, etc)? Surfshark usually works fine with many other applications running on your computer.

I use the method of iOS application as follows: Use CoreBluetooth and create a session with one device and connect to its service list . Write custom data format and then get this format from iOS device . The iOS device need to support the protocol which I create on step 1. (The protocol is actually a dictionary )
Read these data. The custom data contains a list of custom data, the format is as below . The data will only be available if I make a connection to the custom data with the CoreBluetooth . The iOS device will not listen for the connection, and when I receive a message, I can open it up and have its content. But you can't see what the value is on iOS .

How to use split tunneling on Surfshark?

If somebody with a non-rooted phone can please give me step by step instructions as to , this is very essential!

I have followed the tutorial already and my phone works fine on other networks like Ting. I installed the Surfshark package, then connected to an open hotspot (I live in NYC) and it said "please install APN Tunneling from Play Store or download an APN Tunneling client app." Which APN Tunneling client do I need? I thought surfshark package handles that? Please answer ASAP! Thanks a lot!

I think Surfshark is pretty slow too with this one, so I'd suggest you to set your data speed a little bit lower with it so that you may avoid disconnection often. 1) Download a 3G data client app (like KKbox) which is able to tunnel over the 3G network from one computer to another computer which has an active internet connection. For example, there are many Android clients you can choose which includes KKbox.2) Connect your mobile phone to the other computer via USB cable and configure its data rate to a lower setting. Once you're done, unplug your phone.3) While being connected, go to Settings>Applications>Google Play>Manage Apps>Select your downloaded data client app.4) Start your favorite game from within the 3G data client app, then start the other laptop so that the data of the app is loaded into the laptop while it still runs.5) Start the Internet connection icon, then press Data. If the internet connectivity does not appear immediately but you can see a connection icon on the top, then go to the top most apps and close the apps that seem to have hung. It helps to stop the loading times of game titles.

And, if you want to play games at high speeds on your iPhone and Android devices, you don't have to tether them anymore. Play Games supports Game Controllers now. Just connect your device, launch Play Games and pick your controller in the settings, then press Done and you're good to go.

If I change my data speed on a router or whatever, where does that information get stored or whatever? Or does it keep recording that info locally permanently on my phone whenever the wifi reconnects or something? What about the apps or browsers like Chrome etc.
