How do I login to my Norton account?
I've been having trouble with the Norton website and have already asked for help on it, but I think it's a bit much that Norton is asking me to pay to ask a question?
My account is not on a phone or tablet. Shouldn't Norton just be able to access my account by either entering the name and password or my username and my password? Sorry but my account is still on my home computer and is not on a phone or tablet, so not sure how this would work. And yes I am an administrator on the account. But I'm no expert in this area.
If you can access your profile from a browser, then you can set up a desktop login and password that Norton will allow to use. You can set up two or more logins and passwords, each with their own special rules, that Norton will allow to use if they are not used too frequently. This way, you don't need to pay each time someone tries to login to your Norton product. If the desktop logins are saved, they can be accessed with any of your desktop devices.
To add a new login and password: Launch the Norton Account Assistant. On the Welcome tab, select Set a New Norton Account Password, and then follow the instructions. On the Manage tab, select the Norton Login or Norton Desktop Login that you want to associate with the new password, and then complete the following: Select Allow this new login and password to be used with this Norton service. Enter a temporary password that Norton will only allow to use for 30 days. Select Set the temporary password. Select the Norton Login or Norton Desktop Login you just added. Enter the temporary password Norton set. Select Save. Use the following procedures to remove a login and password: Open the Norton Account Assistant. On the Manage tab, select the Norton Login or Norton Desktop Login you want to remove, and then select Remove this login.

There are two major trends in the mobile phone industry: high growth rates of smartphones and tablets. In developed economies, a smartphone penetration rate of around 90% is normal. In emerging economies, the number is more like 10%. But the growth rates of smartphone sales remain high, despite the high penetration rates.
Tablets are also becoming widely used, especially in China and in developing economies such as India and Indonesia. Tablet shipments are expected to double between 2025 and 2025, while smartphone shipments will grow at double-digit rates. Tablets and smartphones have the potential to drive sales growth in other mobile device categories, as their use expands.
Is Norton 360 the same as Norton Family?
I am considering purchasing the Norton 360 family plan, so I would like to know what other features and updates will be available.
Does it include the same security (AV) as the Family plan? Does it include any more features such as parental control, etc? Also, is it true that it can be used to create an entire mobile device? I have had the regular version of Norton for several years, but the only thing I've heard is that you can install their mobile security product onto a smart phone or smart tablet, but I've never tried it myself so I'm not sure how it works. It does require two-step verification if you're signed into the cloud or other services online on the phone, which is something the regular Norton doesn't offer, I don't believe. But it also makes it easier to sign into multiple accounts. It's probably a bit more involved than just taking out the SIM card, but it does sound like the best option for you.
It comes with 2GB of storage in the cloud, which I think is enough for all the apps that I use. Does anyone here have experience with Norton 360, other than they offer it at the same price as the basic Norton? Does anyone know anything about its functionality? I would love to get a free trial of it, but Norton told me it takes some time to install the product on my computer. I am using Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 11. I would be willing to wait for the free trial.
Norton now claims you can download it through the Google Play store or from their website. If you use one of their app downloads (which you should), it will install it within about a minute. When it first installed, it took me three tries to get it to work. There was a couple hours when I thought I didn't have Internet access, but I guess I did have it. If you use one of their app downloads (which you should), it will install it within about a minute.
