How do I add a QuickMemo?
(Hey, I thought you might find this handy. This is my list of the first names of everybody's friends. That way, when you're trying to remember someone's name, you just scroll down until you get to 'A' for Alissa or 'B' for Brenda and that saves you a little time. Hope it works out for ya.).
But it's really cool that if these things come in our mailboxes, we might have a chance to actually use them, and they won't be just dunno what that is. So here we are!
Is QuickMemo+ an LG app?
Does anyone know how to find out whether QuickMemo is an LG app or a Samsung/Android app?
As far as I can see, this page on the LG Developer Connection forum says: LG QuickMemo is a great application that lets you create, edit and save your text notes with great features including the ability to choose different color background and font. So I guess it's a LG app, right? I don't think you can see if it is LG or not. The developers have to pay a fee to LG for these sorts of things. If you go to the AppStore it will let you know that QuickMemo is an LG app.
Where is QuickMemo on LG phone?
I downloaded QuickMemo from the Market, and it's working fine on my HTC One.
But on my new LG phone, it just doesn't work.
It's a new LG G4, running Android 5.1. I've enabled Memo and QuickMemo in the settings, but when I touch the memo button on the keyboard, it's just blank.
Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks. Answer:? I've got the same issue on my G4 running Marshmallow. It works fine on the HTC one, but when I open QuickMemo, it appears as if it doesn't recognize the memo button on the keyboard. It will just blank out.
The app has worked for me before on other devices, and I haven't changed anything about it. I can start the memo app from the quickmemo app and it works fine, but when I start QuickMemo it just shows a blank screen. I've updated the firmware on my G4 to the latest version.
I have the same problem, which is why I haven't posted for a while. Quickmemo has started working for me again after updating to the latest version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
My previous version of Android 5.1 was causing me problems with Quickmemo and the memo button on the keyboard.
I believe that it's because of a change in the way Android handles text entry in apps. When you use the memo button on the keyboard, the Android keyboard goes away, and Quickmemo gets the focus. As I type, Quickmemo picks up on the characters I'm typing, and replaces them with a note (or a picture, if you're using the Memo option). However, before the keyboard hides, it removes the Quickmemo icon from the Quickmemo settings page. This causes Quickmemo to show a blank screen when it starts.
If you don't have the Quickmemo app, you'll just see the blank screen. There's no way to enter text without the Quickmemo icon on the page. So you can't use the keyboard to enter text.
