How do I block a website on Google on my laptop?

How do I permanently block a website from my browser?

I'm in the process of setting up an iPad to act as a media hub for the television.

I have one of the cheaper HD models, which doesn't require video transcoding, etc. The problem is that the media player and the web browser both want to get through to each other. In other words, if I go to "www.example.com", it will take me to YouTube, and I will get a pop-up asking if I want to open a new window or something like that. At this point, I can't find a way to block them from trying to talk to each other.

I've considered just putting up my own DNS server with a big NoScript rule, but then the web browser would just ignore the rules. ? When you're done, right click on the new tab. Select "Open in seperate tab". This should work.

I think its the way u did it and it worked for you.you may wanna download uBlock and use it To remove the websites you want to block you should click the gear icon on the top right of the browser and select edit. Then you can tick the box that says 'block requests to' and then click ok.

Then on the left hand side select content. You can then check 'webpages' and the boxes next to it which will block that website.

How can I block a website?

I just want to block some webpages.

Is it possible to block them? How can I block them? If there are some websites that I do not want to visit, I want to block them.

You can't block the website per se. You can use a proxy or VPN to hide your IP address from them.

A proxy works by requesting the webpage from the server behind it. It keeps track of what you have requested and replaces your IP address with theirs. So if they were to see your IP address, they would know that you've requested that page.
