How do I fix blocked by administrator on Chromebook?

How do I fix blocked by administrator on Chromebook?

I am running two instances of Chrome OS.

One is at work and I don't get blocked. At home, I have a Chromebook that's blocked by the admin, even though I don't use their machine. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

Here's what happened: I started receiving error messages with notifications from the site I use, where I'm asked to reset my password. I had tried to do so in Chrome at work (where it's not blocked) and couldn't get it to work. So, on my desktop at home (where it is blocked by the admin) I go into the settings and try to reset my password and it is blocked. I then attempted to reset my password using the Reset Password page but got an error saying the password is wrong. I attempted to click Forgot password but got the same error as above.

I tried to contact the person who blocks me but haven't gotten a reply. I tried the support email listed on the blocked by admin on Chrome page but got a response saying my email is invalid.

Any help on how to correct this would be appreciated. You are right that it's strange that after you reset your password from outside (on your desktop) you can't do it from the phone app or the chrome browser on your laptop. In fact, if I had the time I'd love to figure out what causes that difference in the way you can't reset your password on a remote device. We've been getting a lot of these requests lately as well, just this week. That kind of thing just seems weird. But hopefully we'll be able to find a fix soon. Thanks for sharing!

What makes it most interesting is that the administrator also is also blocked in another instance of Chrome OS, from a different device. In that case it will not allow resetting your password from that device, yet it will allow resetting your password from the mobile app.

How do I stop a website from blocking on my Chromebook?

The good news is that by simply blocking the site using chrome://flags/#enable- So how do I set up a list of blocked websites on a Chromebook?

1) Add a domain name to the Chrome/Chromium flag. When adding a site to block, simply add the domain name to chrome://flags/#enable-http-block-listing, as shown in the screenshot above. If you have a large number of websites, you can create a text file called http-block.txt. In this file, simply add the domains that you want to block in one line per domain. Then, you can quickly add sites to the block list by double clicking the flag, or right clicking on the flag and selecting 'Add Domain Name'.

2) Create an http-block.txt file for sites you want to block We recommend that you create an http-block.txt file to avoid having to add sites to the block list every time you want to change the block list. You can simply create an http-block.txt file in your downloads folder. Then, copy and paste the domains you want to block in the file.

For example, if you have an URL that you want to block, you can simply create an http-block.txt file in your downloads folder, and copy and paste the following in the text file.

Git.github.com
3) Block the sites in your http-block.txt file Open the file you just created, click 'Open' and the block list will appear in the dialog box. Simply add the sites you want to block to the block list.

4) Reopen the URL. Once you add sites to the block list, simply open in the browser to stop the sites being blocked. 5) Update http-block.txt Every now and then you'll need to update the http-block.

How to remove blocked by admin on Chrome Web Store Chromebook?

I've just bought an Acer Chromebook 13 and installed Chrome OS on it.

It worked fine until now. Then I clicked on the Google Chrome Store app and suddenly I've got a popup that says Site blocked by admin. The popup has no close button, so I can't get rid of it.

I went to my developer console and I found that the following URL was blocked: It seems like I have to do a hard reset to get rid of the popup. How can I get rid of it? The Chrome Web Store app is pretty weird because it shows different apps and features depending on what page you're on. For example, when you click on Explore, you can choose the apps to download from the store. But when you click on My Apps, you see your own apps.

If you've created any apps, you'll have access to them. If you haven't, you can still create apps by clicking on Create new in the top right corner of the store.

You can only download apps on Chrome OS that have been purchased before. After you've purchased an app, it will appear in the store, where you can either download it or open the app.

The blocked page is coming from the Chrome Web Store app. It looks like a regular page, except it's being blocked.

So I don't know why the Chrome Web Store app would block access to itself. I'm pretty sure that this is not the first time I've seen this popup. Whenever I try to access a page that isn't hosted by Google, it gives me a popup that says Site blocked by admin.

I'm pretty sure this popup is coming from a Chrome extension that's trying to access a URL that has a www in the beginning of the URL.
