How do I block a page in Cloudflare?

By default, Cloudflare blocks access to anything that isn't a whitelisted URL.

For example, to block a page that's listed on a website, you'd add an IP address range, like: 45.67.89 - 123.90
You can also block a page by adding the URL of a page, like: A URL can be either a fully-qualified or relative URL. How do I block a site? The easiest way to block a site is to add its name to your DNS record. When visitors look up the URL, Cloudflare returns a Cloudflare 404 page with a link to your website.

To add a site to Cloudflare DNS, log in to the Cloudflare dashboard and navigate to the Settings tab. Then select Add DNS Record. You'll see a blank field to enter your DNS settings. In the Name box, type the name of your website, and add an optional comment. Click Save. Cloudflare will save your DNS settings and return to the dashboard.

When Cloudflare returns a Cloudflare 404 page for a site, it will include links to your website. This can happen if the site has been blocked or has been updated since the last time Cloudflare looked up the domain. Cloudflare will keep looking up your site until the block is removed or the domain hasn't been updated for over 24 hours.

The above example would block www.com, www.net, and any subdomains. If you have two websites named example.com that were set up under separate web hosting accounts, then you'd use two separate DNS records:

DNS record name. Example.net What if I want to block more than one domain? Enter the website's name and its relevant subdomain(s) into the Name box and then click Save DNS Record. A Cloudflare error will appear if there are any errors in your DNS settings, but otherwise the block will take effect immediately.

Does Cloudflare DNS block websites?

Recently Cloudflare was the target of a lot of negative media attention, because of its service called Cloudflare DNS, which was advertised to provide free DNS for websites.

Unfortunately there is some bad press to pay when dealing with any sort of cloud-based business model. Because it's a cloud-based model, there are more services and more people who can affect your website in a negative way. The way that Cloudflare DNS blocks website addresses sounds like a good thing, but it is not. We are going to show you how Cloudflare DNS works, but also how to circumvent Cloudflare DNS if you need to. We are going to use a website called "www.trendycrafts.com" as our example. Trendycrafts is a website I've personally built, that uses Cloudflare DNS. You can see the site here: www. What you don't see is Cloudflare DNS blocking the domain name. In fact, there are only two DNS records on the domain itself.com has two DNS records: 1. Name Server: 192.0.1 2. Now, if you type "www.com" into a web browser, you'll get the page from Trendycrafts.com, and the domain name is available through your internet provider's DNS system. If you type in "www.com" into the Cloudflare DNS website, it will show the Cloudflare page at trendycrafts.com, even though this website has two DNS records. The Cloudflare DNS service claims to be completely free, but they do have advertisements on their page and on their domain name. They also block content, and we know you can find out what's in the advertisements by searching the Internet. We found out what was in the advertisements, and got a screenshot. If you type www.com into the Cloudflare DNS website, the content is blacked out, and there are advertisements on the page. I personally did a search for what was advertised, and it is shown below. We were able to find out what is in the advertisements, but the website doesn't work properly because of Cloudflare DNS.

Is Cloudflare blocking websites?

I recently tried to sign into a site that has some javascript on it, which seems to require a certain cookie.

However, when I tried to access the site, I got a page that said "Sorry, but your browser is not supported by Cloudflare." (I'm using Firefox, if it makes any difference.)

The strange thing is that I've had a Cloudflare account for a while and haven't had this problem before. It's not blocking me from accessing other sites; it's just blocking this one site. I have no idea what could be causing this, but I've been able to access the site without problems since I got the account.

CloudFlare is blocking websites. This is the third time I have had to call tech support for CloudFlare. My first issue was a bug on my site that had to be fixed, but I never had this issue again until yesterday.

Today I went to a site, CloudFlare blocked the site, I called tech support, and they were unable to help me. I called back yesterday and they said that my server was in a bad state, and they would contact me next week. Today I called them again, and they said that I had been in good standing for 2 months and that I have no pending billing issues. This has never happened to me before.

My site is hosted with GoDaddy and my DNS records are with 1&1. I also have an SSL certificate with Comodo. My server is running on a Core i7.

I would appreciate some help, as my web traffic has dropped significantly due to CloudFlare. I'm not familiar with CloudFlare, so I can't help you out there. However, I am familiar with Google's Page Speed service, which offers similar features to CloudFlare. I know they are both great products and I'm sure I'd be using them as well if they were available.

I have a website hosted on CloudFlare and have had to call tech support many times to get the problem solved. They don't respond quickly and will just tell you to fix the problem yourself or wait a few days for someone to come around and fix it.
