How do I install TestFlight apps?

Check "TestFlight" under App Store Connect -> Prerelease. When you're done, choose Select Destination and select your TestFlight group. When it's complete, choose Export and wait for the export to complete. If you don't have a group, you will be asked to create one when you export your app.

How do I get apps on TestFlight?

You need to have a TestFlight account.

It's easy to sign up for one at Once you've signed up, go to App Store Connect and click on TestFlight. You should see a button called "Start the Process" or something similar. Click on that.

App Store Connect will ask you to enter your TestFlight credentials. We need to be on the same team with the TestFlight account you're logging into, so make sure you're logged in as the right account. App Store Connect will then ask us to create a new Apple ID. Go ahead and do that. This will create a new Apple ID for your TestFlight account.

The process will take a few minutes, but we'll get back to you when it's done. ? What you're looking for is the "Start the Process" button (top right corner). Once you've clicked on that button, you should see a dialog box pop up. Underneath the heading "This is the build you'll use on TestFlight.", you should see an option to upload to TestFlight. If you don't see that option, click the "Show More." button to scroll down and find the option.

Note: If you don't see that option, you probably don't have an account set up yet. Go through the steps above to set up a new TestFlight account.

Once you've clicked on the Upload to TestFlight button, you'll get a dialog box asking you to select what you want to upload. Click on "App". Click on the app's name to select it. Click on "Next". Fill in the fields with your app's info. When you're done filling in the fields, you should see a dialog box asking you to confirm you want to submit your app to TestFlight. Click on "Submit". Now you should see a dialog box asking you to confirm your changes. Click on "Submit Changes" when you're ready. You'll see a dialog box asking you to confirm you want to submit your app. Click on "OK" when you're ready.

Your product key will be sent to the email address that your account is linked to. IMPORTANT. As of January 3rd 2026, TestFlight will no longer support iOS 8. You must be running iOS 9.0 or greater in order to submit builds. Please check to see that your OS is running version 9 or higher.

If you are running the N-gage SDK prior to 1.5 you must update your SDK to version 1.5 as this is now the minimum required version.

The following SDKs require an app key before they will work for test purposes: v1.2, v1.4 and v1. If you already have an application key for your application then there is no need for you to get one.

The following pre-release versions are also tested using an application key only: n-gage SDK v0.90.

Testflight Instructions: Open an iDevice or iPad, and follow the instructions in the header. (You will need your product key for TestFlight, as well as information about your iOS version and an Application ID from Apple) Enter the code of the beta you would like to try below. Enter the code you received from Apple once you logged into their website and selected your bundle identifier. There is usually no delay between submitting this and the end of the testing period.

Select if you are sending a TestFlight Build when you build your beta. Make sure your app has been successfully signed in iTunes Connect.

When making the first build for the TestFlight beta enter the Application ID for the AppStore Application with this beta. If your Beta application is not for the AppStore then you may need to use a temporary Application ID from iTunes Connect in place of the current AppStore Application ID. See below for more details.
