. I just got a new Chromebook which is running version 7.642 of the OS. When I go to Settings, there is no Family Link tab. I am using an Android phone and using the latest version of Chrome on my computer to tether it. All other programs are working fine.

My questions:
. Why is there no Family Link tab in the Settings screen in the latest version of the Chrome OS?

The answer to your question depends on what exactly you want to do, however in general I recommend not using the Family link because it could potentially give users access to more information than they really want. You do have access to the F-secure website, you can create a login there if you need to and then do some troubleshooting from the browser. You can also go into the 'Appcenter' application and then to Settings > Manage Family Links. If you have other devices that have connected to Family Link and don't want to delete them you can go to Settings > Family Link, disable the current device (if you've only got 1 or 2 devices) and go into the 'delete this device' option. Then you'll be able to access F-secure's website via your browser. This is probably not ideal but it might help.

The Family Link works by letting devices that are connected to that Family Link have access to your various accounts. It also allows you to use the web interface to make changes to family member info. However, after a while of using the Family Link feature, you cannot access your website anymore.

Your only option here is to go to the F-Secure website by connecting your device to a computer, log into the account you originally created the Family Link for and then make the changes.
