How do I force a link to open on Facebook app?
I have a URL that I use to send my articles to Facebook.
If I click on this link in the Facebook app, it opens the browser. How do I force it to open in the Facebook app instead? You need to add the "href" parameter to the URL. For example: Click to join. The above URL will open the browser, but the following one will open the Facebook app: As you can see, the second URL has the "ref" parameter.
How do I open a Facebook link in app instead of browser iPhone?
I have to create custom URL scheme for my iPhone app to make Facebook login.
But if I just type the link on Safari, it will automatically opens in a browser and doesn't ask for login (or any permission required). So how to open it from my iPhone app itself instead of being prompted to login to Facebook? Any help would be highly appreciated.
You need to create your own URL scheme handler so that it's not handled by any known app. It seems the only way you can do this is by creating your own custom URL scheme. In your Info.
