Is Urban free VPN legit?
You could use it with the free version, if you want to make sure it works for you, but you may have a more reliable internet service. Does it require a credit card? No, you can register in only a few seconds through your Facebook account, without paying anything. Is it easy to use? It's easy to use and intuitive. With the help of the mobile application you can make real-time adjustments on the server settings, which are usually stored at its IP address, and configure your connection settings when you are away from your home network.
How many servers are there? There are over 6 million. I want to cancel my account, what should I do? To cancel your account, please go to your profile, click on the "My Account" link on top right corner and select the account you want to delete. You will be presented with a list of actions that you can take.
Why does the IP address of my free VPN keep changing? Because your location depends on the closest server. For example, if it is located in United States, United Kingdom or South Korea, it will provide you access to more servers. So, if you want to remain anonymous you may have to try this server. On the contrary, if the server is located in Germany or Vietnam, it will provide you access to less servers and thus be able to provide the anonymity you need.
How safe is the payment via Bitcoin? We think the most important thing is to use a strong VPN with many servers, so we do not check the coins nor the money transfers. We know that Bitcoin provides anonymity, but we also know that sometimes, it is easy to track Bitcoin payments. So, we just like to think that our users' transactions are anonymous.
Are all servers open? Our VPN offers open servers to its customers, which means you can use them even when you are using private networks, as these are open and thus allow you to access external servers and internet connections that would normally be blocked. However, we advise you to only use servers that are available in the moment you visit them, because they may be closed due to the high demand.

Why is Urban VPN not working Chrome?
Updated on February 5, 2023. For quite some time I have been using the following to route my web browsing through a different country. However, recently I have tried to use the same settings again and got an error message. This is what I have tried to do in Chrome.
Steps: Click on this icon in the top right-hand corner of the browser (Chrome). Go to "Preferences". Under "Network", change "Use a VPN server" from "Off" to "On". Click the Apply button. And finally open UrbanVPN in your browser and see if it works. If it does not work and you don't mind me asking why, please do get back to me in the comments section.
To use a VPN server with Chrome: Right-click and select "Properties". Click the "Connection" tab. Choose the "Use a VPN server" radio button, then fill out the form as needed. When you've done that, select the "Proceed to the URL" button.
A new tab will open in the Chrome browser with the IP address provided by your VPN service. You'll be able to browse the web as usual, however when you click on a link, you'll need to use your VPN IP address instead of your normal one.
I thought I'd share some notes that may help you to get your VPN working with Chrome. When you're using the Chrome browser with a VPN and using Internet Explorer, you have to go into your IE settings and make sure that the "Do not use proxy server" option is not checked. If you have the Firefox browser, you do not need to make any changes. Let me know if this helps. PS: I had to change my post title because UrbanVPN is not working on my Chrome browser. My apologies for any inconvenience.
PPS: The comments section is currently under construction, until I have enough people to work on it. The new comments area is a separate page.
UrbanVPN says they have updated their Privacy Policy and that you should read that first. It does state: "We collect information when you log in, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the time zone and location of your computer. We also collect information about your activities with our site.
What is urban for Google Chrome?
Google Chrome is the name of the most widely used web browser today. If you've been asked if Google Chrome has been optimized for the urban environment, then there's good reason to say that it might. That's because Google Chrome is powered by Chromium, the open source version of the internet's foremost web browser - Mozilla Firefox.
With Chromium as its engine, and Chrome as its brand, the internet giant does a pretty thorough job of giving users the best in performance, functionality, privacy and security in today's tech world. There are ways to make sure that you know what's up with Google Chrome. From the homepage interface to different pages and add-ons, we take a look at some of the things that make Google Chrome for the city its own.
Chromium and browser differences. Google Chrome is a web browser, but it uses an open source software project called Chromium to do it. The Chromium project itself is open source, and it is also the base for Google Chrome. The open source version of Chrome is also free for use, and it makes the internet giant billions of dollars each year.
A huge difference between Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome is that Firefox only uses the Gecko engine, and Chrome uses the Blink engine. It does mean that Google Chrome's search bar is on top for most users, but it also means that Google Chrome isn't affected by a lot of common HTML5 features.
A further distinction is that Blink supports much of the same technology as WebKit. However, other browsers support even more APIs, such as Windows XP/Vista.
A new browser for your desktop. While there is no denying that Chrome was a smart move from Google, Chrome's impact was still minor when it came to browser dominance. Over the years, Firefox has proven to be a solid competitor in the space, and it recently beat Chrome in usage figures. However, Google has seen how users respond to the open source browser and have changed their tune to bring Chrome over 2.12 percent of the desktop market share - beating the 2.11 percent of Firefox.
Google claims that its main focus is on the mobile market, and that it will continue to keep its eye on the desktop browser market to see whether that needs to change in the future.
