Can I install OpenVPN Access Server on Windows?

This is a question about OpenVPN Access Server, a free Open Source solution for home users to create a VPN tunnel. It's completely serverless and it's based on FreeRADIUS. It's one of the few Open Source solution that doesn't have ads or third-party modules. It is a community project with over 1.5 million users. They have a full range of features, it's Open Source, and it's secure. Their business model is donations.

How it works: First, I created a user with the username admin and the password admin on OpenVPN Server. Then I set the serverprivnolimits in /etc/openvpn/server.conf to 1. This will allow me to modify all server files directly. To check if everything worked properly, I ran openvpn --version. The result was OpenVPN 2.4 ltd - Fri Jan 12 20:11:01 CET 2025.

After this, I went back to my OpenVPN Access Server (OAS) dashboard and configured my servers. And the server is up and running and all of the services are working, including the RADIUS Authentication Server and RADIUS Directory Server. When I go to OAS > Servers, the new server is called OAS-SVR1 and it is up and running. The status is Enabled. And on the General tab, there's no issue at all.

Then, I opened the Access-Server panel and it looks like this: As you can see, it tells me that OAS-SVR1 is not active. Well, actually it's not possible to find it and connect to it with the remote client. I could only see a few servers. But I want to know why OAS-SVR1 is inactive when I'm connected to OpenVPN Access Server with a VPN tunnel.

I checked the log file and I saw a message from my client when I tried to connect. It says: Access Server Error: Access-Server encountered a problem. Please see error log file Is there any way to make the server active?

Is OpenVPN access server free?

I am looking to purchase a server to act as an access point to a home network.

I want it to have a dynamic IP, I want to install PPTP VPN on it, and I want the PPTP server to allow users to share their network and be able to access their files on their network, I also want a vpn server where they can use all of their resources and I don't want them to have to pay for it. The way I see it is that there are two options one being that it is free and other that it is not, if it is not free how much does it cost and what features do they have, if it is free then where do they get money from. It is a Windows Server 2025 R2 which includes Filezilla and Webmin and everything else that I need it to do. Please help.

I am running a Windows Server 2025 R2 that already has FileZilla and Webmin on it, I just don't have the website to buy it and I don't know how to access the website in regards to buying it. > Which site are you trying to download from? I am trying to download the server from here: I had not idea that this was a website and I haven't been on the internet in years so I am not sure where to find the website to buy it from. I just typed openvpn into the search bar of google and the first site it brought me too is this website. I don't see anything for purchasing it though.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time, I just found out that it is a free file so I tried to install it and it was a bit slow so I went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night to find this but I couldn't find it where I thought it would be. Can someone please explain to me exactly what I need and what features it has.
