Can you join Discord without the chat app?
Some people like talking in Discord, but others prefer using the chat app. Since the Discord website is an integral part of Discord, we've decided to offer that functionality for users who don't need to use Discord as a chat app. This is a big step forward for both our product and your experience.
Our goal is to be the best way to communicate with your team and work together. If you're not working with your team and using it for messaging, you're missing out. In this post I'll share a step-by-step tutorial to join Discord without the chat app and get set up with your team. It's simple and you can install the tool on both iOS and macOS without downloading anything.
Let's get started. Discord For Teams Guide. The official Discord For Teams guide will walk you through each step of the process in complete detail. I will not be able to go through every thing the guide covers, but I will do my best to provide any relevant step-by-step instructions in these blog posts and answers to frequently asked questions in our Help Center.
If you are new to Discord and looking for a way to have a free alternative to Slack or Telegram, or if you already have a subscription to Discord for Business or Enterprise, then check out our Ultimate Guide to Team Chat that walks you through setting up a workspace, including installing and setting up Discovr as a webapp. Download the installer. First, we need to download Discord For Teams, which you can do by clicking the link to get started. You don't need to be a Premium member to install Discovr (see below for detailed instructions).
Installing Discovr requires macOS and iOS. You can run the installer on both mobile and desktop versions of your operating system. Installing on macOS is easier than on iOS so I'll provide instructions for macOS first.
If you're on macOS, you can either open the .dmg file in Disk Utility or double-click the file icon to run it. Either way, you can click on the icon to accept the installation for an additional payment.
You may get a Install for free! option after accepting the payment.
How do I log into Discord through browser?
You are actually asking 2 questions in 1, so I'll split this into 2 answers.
? There's no built-in client that handles your browser. It's usually best to use the official server, which is built on Node.js and has some interesting features, like the ability to auto-download the client for you.
If you're still feeling adventurous, you can run the Discord client locally. This is what I did when I needed to test out Discord with a local machine.
If you're trying to get an invite to a server or group, then try running: Where do I find out the ID of my group or server? Most servers have a web page where you can look up their ID. Try typing "" into your browser.
Can you login with Google on Discord?
What's up everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but I've been working on some side projects lately and trying to get everything under control. I was wondering if there's a way to login with Google on Discord. It'd be awesome if this could be done via OAuth (in my case). But I'm open to other options as well.
If you have any ideas or comments feel free to leave them here or reach out to me in a PM. Thanks for your time!
