How can I scan QR code on Android without app for free?
I want to be able to scan QR codes from another device like mobile.
The only problem is, it should work without having to install any third party applications. I'm trying to keep the application size to minimum. Any help would be appreciated!
You need a QR Scanner app for mobile device. That can detect qr/barcode and make the corresponding intent to your other app.
This is not possible with out of the box android API. You'll need to have the source code from scanner app and make you own.
Can I link a Signal on two phones?
I have connected a few speakers to my PC to make the house sound better but now I would like to connect some speakers (mainly speakers that I need for the bedroom) on my 2nd phone and still be able to receive calls and text messages on the PC so that when a caller rings the PC it will tell me where I am in the house. The system is a Windows XP desktop computer connected to my land line and router. Re: ? If your internet connection does not have an ethernet port you can install Bluetooth dongle and use the built in speakers and earphones. Of course this is a very expensive solution.
However even if your internet connection has an ethernet port, using it does not really improve the sound quality. Using it does have its advantages like having a constant Internet speed instead of varying speeds like at home or in office. If you use the ethernet port on your PC you have access to the LAN and you can do a lot of things like sharing folders, print files etc. If you really want to be sure your internet connection works all the time, you can even run a second internet connection with a different internet router for the LAN which will allow you to be connected to the Internet almost all the time.
One of the issues with Bluetooth wireless headphones is that they require you to manually disconnect them from their source to answer calls. Your wired headset doesn't have this problem. BTW, wireless Bluetooth headsets are also significantly more expensive.
I don't think that the solution you've mentioned is that expensive, but it isn't going to provide exactly what you have in mind, I'm afraid. I know it's hard to say whether an item is cheap or expensive without knowing the exact specifications, but I am sure you know this already. Perhaps you could elaborate on the exact specifications, however? Otherwise we'll just have to guess - and perhaps someone else might help you out.
There are a couple of options. You could of course pick up a USB Ethernet adaptor for about 2, but its still pretty limited. I don't know much about it, as I am never home on a PC - but I believe it only supports a few different network protocols.
