Using NordVPN is fairly straightforward. I used the instructions from this post from DigitalOcean.com (which you can find here).

Install and configure NordVPN. First up install the NordVPN app for Linux. Make sure to add the PPTP protocol which I think is the reason for the VPN disconnects at times. I think they are running a Linux kernel so not sure how well they deal with IP fragmentation.

Second up, download and install the latest update of NordVPN on our Ubuntu server.
