Does no lag VPN actually work?

Where is the best VPN location for bot lobbies MW3?

Can you tell me what VPNs are being used when I am playing online in MW3?

I know a few of them and most seem to be based in China/Taiwan/HK or another china based IP. My question is can you confirm or at least guess which of these are bot lobbies? Which VPN companies are you seeing? If someone uses anonymous VPN like the ones they use for downloading in windows can it change? Which of the ones you mentioned above are the most popular ones? I would guess you must hear more about HMA than anything else, does anyone know? My main reason for asking this is because I would like to see what other peoples experiences with VPN's are. Thanks.

As far as I have figured out (at least with mine) anonymous is a vpn company where your identity is hidden. Most people download with anonymous client in windows. It may be a little different from a windows based downloader such as winrar or 7zip but is used by many. They usually have no problem with the bots.

HMA only seems to be used by pepes who want to protect their identities from those who might find out. It is also often harder to download from an actual server if not using anonymous client. If a peer on your lobby is using the hma, the best thing to do would be to keep an eye on your screen and look at any screen shots taken from your game and compare them to the players stats (if any are available) to determine if the player was using an hma server.

Thanks for reply guys, your both right about hma but what I meant was something along the lines of, the player is using a vpn client for windows that can mask your ip address. As I do believe some anonymous clients do have some kind of a mask, I do know the servers used for downloading in winrar is anonymous but if its just because they are downloading a movie from there server it can be detected as well and thus can cause problems in a match. I am wondering if there are any special clients that can actually mask your ip so that its not traceable.

A VPN stands for Virtual Private Networking which allow you to have an IP address that is different from your home IP address.

For streaming media, such as video or audio, the most important aspect is latency (the number of seconds that the video or audio pauses). Latency impacts the speed and performance of any web browser, game, software, or operating system in which the content plays, and can seriously degrade your experience if it is too high.

A high latency will noticeably slow down the player, or force the player to buffer and re-play the video at slower speeds. This can be especially detrimental if you are accessing high-quality streaming content, such as 4K or HD.

The amount of latency that a network will cause varies with different types of networks, as well as the distance between nodes and servers in each network. There are plenty of services available to measure latency on a specific link: but for the purposes of VPN networks, latency will be measured by latency between VPN servers. A few factors affect latency between VPN servers: the speed of the internet connection between the two, number of devices connected to each server, and how many clients are simultaneously connected to a given server. Speed - Fast network connections typically have low latency (minutes, if not seconds), while slower connections may have latency in the minute to hour range.
