Does no lag VPN actually work?
I have been looking for a VPN for a while now.
I had an idea of what I wanted it to do, I'm just wondering if anyone actually uses a VPN and if it works. I think the only way you can tell if it works is to use it while trying to connect to something. But I don't know if it will work that way.
Is there any kind of software or hardware that can test a VPN connection? I know that a VPN server isn't as good as having a server at your own location but I'd like to be able to test one for myself. In case it helps you can get a free IPVanish trial on the off chance that you want to try it. They have a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it so it's worth a shot.
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll try that, I don't have much of a choice really.
Do VPNs actually work? I've been looking for a good one for a long time and haven't been able to find a working one. To answer your question, yes, there are some that work, though it depends on your needs. Most of the time, VPN is for those who wants to hide their IP address.
If you're looking for a reliable VPN provider, look at NordVPN and you will be very happy. There's also a free trial available, which is a nice plus. Their customer service is excellent, they're very friendly and polite and they have great security.
What is the best VPN region for bot lobbies?
I'm wondering what the best VPN region is to use for bot lobbies.
The reason I ask this is because I'm in Australia and I live in a time zone in the middle of the Pacific. I know that most people use a VPN to hide their location from websites and they don't care where you are. This is fine when using an average VPN. But now that I'm using a bot lobby with VPN I'm having issues as most of the bots I run into are in Europe. It's very easy to tell if a bot is European because they usually have a different IP address from the one they claim to be in. When I used a non-VPN bot lobby, the IP address was always Europe. But I can't tell which country is Europe and I don't want my bot IP address to end up in Germany or something like that.
Is there a way I can find out which country is in the bot lobby? I've tried using geoip, but the region is always a match for Europe. If it helps any, the bot lobby I'm using is Botlounge. It's a VPN bot lobby that is available on the App Store for the iPhone.
The answer here depends on how the VPN provider is configured. If the VPN provider doesn't require a login, then you won't have to worry about who is logging in. You'll just see the IP address that the bot uses.
If the VPN provider does require a login, you'll need to use geoip again, but this time with the IP address instead of the region. You'll want to know the closest city to the IP address that the bot is using. If it's a server near the bot's IP, then it should be close to the location you want.
In your case, you're likely dealing with Russian VPN IP addresses, which means that you should look for a server near St. Petersburg, Russia. Botlounge appears to be based in New York City, so they may be using one of the other cities on the east coast.
Hey all, I'm using Botlounge vpn to hide my location while playing online. It works perfectly except for one problem.
Is ExpressVPN good for bot lobbies?
If you have a VPN that is known to be very effective for gaming, what would you tell a person who wants to get into it?
Is it good for bot lobbies or is it more of a good option for streaming and playing games online, but not so much for bot lobbies? I've seen these threads: I'm using a VPN and it's not slowing down my internet connection or affecting performance in any way. VPNs slow down latency of gaming, but are good for anti-censorship/spyware/adblock usage. VPNs are great for anti-censorship but aren't good for gaming. VPNs are great for the whole package, but botting can mess up your connection (which then messes up your game). it's okay, but you need to turn off anti-censorship (which then messes up your internet). So, what do you think? Note: I have always been able to play and chat with friends and other gamers with a VPN without the need to turn on anti-censorship. The anti-censorship just protects you from anti-censorship and not bots. It's also recommended for all users to use anti-censorship because it's just that damn easy.
A botter can be caught in many different ways. It could be that they are a botter and you will never see it unless they try to enter a lobby in which you are in or an attempt to join your botts game. The botter has to be running their bot, but there are different ways that it could be done, such as if their computer has a lot of ram, they can run multiple instances of a bot client. Bot programs can have an account tied to them, so if you log in and out of a bot game, that accounts can be tied to you and if you use an account that is tied to another account then it would have to be done to that specific account, unless the account it's tied to has the bot code. This means that you could be a botter even if you are not using a bot client and you are still in the same account. There is no way to tell if someone is a botter or not, unless they try to enter a game or join a game and you see it. If they try to join a game and they are connected to you, then you could tell.
How do I use VPN for bot lobbies?
There are many different methods that can be used to do this, most of which require the server to have specific rules in place for it to be effective. The most common method is to make your client connect to a VPN server, then when you login and go to the lobby your IP will be assigned a new one from that VPN server. In addition to this you would need to set up your server to have bots playing on it, this can be done by either having the servers bot flagging them, or having your server ban them all together. If the server has bot flags on them, then you would only have to have bots not join servers with bot flags on them.
This is probably the easiest way to get around using a VPN for bot lobbies however if you don't want to ban all your users from being able to join your lobby, or you have many users that wish to use your lobby, then you would need to use a more complex solution. You can read more about doing this in this guide on how to setup a bot lobby. What should I do when my friend joins a bot lobby? When you find a friend in a bot lobby they are usually there by accident, because your friend had their computer / internet browser opened to a certain site / IP. The bot lobby was already running on the server and it has been set to not allow bots so your friend gets a white screen when they try and join.
If you find that this is happening to a lot of people on your server then the best thing you can do is take a screenshot, send it to them and tell them to exit out of the website they were on. If you don't know how to do this then there are instructions here.
You can also get some support with this from the server owner by reporting them via our forums, or even contact Support through Discord. Why does my bot keep getting banned from the server? If your bot keeps getting banned and you do not know what to do about it then you can submit your bots IP and message us about it. We will then look into why your bots IP keeps getting banned and suggest something to you to do to solve it.
