I am not interested in using NordVPN at all, but it seems to be running all the time.

We've noticed that this service often has some of its own processes still running even after it's disabled in your account settings. It's difficult for us to control them all - if you can, please report these rogue processes so we can remove them or shut them down.

It is a common problem but the only solution that I could come up with for it is either: a) If you have enabled "Automatic Shutdown of VPN Connections on the Client" in the client profile to true, then just disable it. If there are additional files there, it is safe to delete them. You'll need to log back into your account to do it but that should fix it for good.

This is a great tool! Please add me to the Beta testing group. I have been using the current version on and off for almost two years now without a hitch. I'd like to help make it better for those who want to put it to use. The program has made it easier for me to connect from work. It just works well and is very fast. My only complaint is that there should be a way for my machine to remember what subnet and server I last connected to.

The NordVPN service is a prepaid VPN service.

You have paid for a certain number of VPN sessions that you can use and no more. You can't extend these sessions. If you need to stop using VPN for a period of time, you'll have to delete your subscription manually. Here is how:

Navigate to www.nordvpn.com/account/. If you're already on this page, the account will not show you what's wrong. The current issue is not found. On this page, you'll see something like this:

You can remove VPN by clicking Remove. When you click Remove, your VPN account will be deactivated. This means that VPN sessions that you are using will be invalidated. Your current connection will still work, but any future connections will not work as they will need a VPN connection. You will need to re-enable it in order to reconnect to the Internet.

Note: Make sure to complete the removal process. If you cancel your subscription by mistake, the last session will remain valid.

What is my VPN address? Your VPN address is the location of your VPN service that will connect you to the Internet. You should have a DNS server for the VPN address. 2018-05-10. The NordVPN team has released new versions of the Android app (3.0) and iOS app (4.0), which offer some security and performance improvements over previous versions of the apps.

Android users can now choose whether to download the NordVPN OpenVPN or PPTP tunnel when installing the app. This will prevent them from accidentally installing the app with an incorrect tunnel type.

VPN support for the Play Store has been improved, and users can now choose which apps are visible on the app store. The app has also gained a "Search history" section to allow users to look up app titles on Google's Play Store.

IOS users can now quickly turn on or off the VPN service by tapping on the icon in the status bar. 2017-09-19. NordVPN has released an update to version 2.0 of their Android app, which brings some security improvements and bug fixes.

A new feature in the NordVPN Android app is the ability to download other apps onto your device. This feature allows users to remove pre-installed apps such as Google Maps and Google Chrome.

The app now supports custom icons, making it easier for users to identify which apps are currently installed. The new app also includes a new option for connecting to servers on Android 7.0, or later. If you're using an older version of Android, you can always manually enable this feature on your device.

The app now features improved multi-user settings, allowing multiple people to use a single VPN subscription.
