Is The Bad Batch series over?

Well, of course it's not.

It's still very much a series of one, and its latest iteration continues that spirit by focusing on an older set of characters: the four-piece band known as The Vandals, and their journey of creating and releasing the cult-favorite album, 1998's Bad Batch.

But even though they're technically not part of the series anymore, they are still a group that deserves our attention and appreciation, and we can thank those four guys for making us want to be part of this whole thing in the first place. The first question anyone wants to know is why did you write about The Vandals? Why not write about one of your personal heroes, or the most popular bands you've ever heard? Well, the answer is simple: because of my love for The Vandals. I've been listening to their music since I was a teenager and remember loving them before I could even understand what I was really listening to. For years, I wrote about bands who were my big brothers in the scene, and to hear about how The Vandals made a living on the road and in their music is simply a testament to their hard work.

Then, after some time passed, I had to start reading about the history of the band. Some stuff just happened so quickly that I wasn't given the opportunity to understand what had been going on. The reason why I'm putting together this piece is because I want to give these people credit for all the stuff that's happened with the band over the years, especially the most interesting part. It seems like they've always known how to keep it together, even though sometimes I felt like their career was being handled by a ghost. For a band that has been around as long as The Vandals, it would have been nice if they could still keep up with the times, but I'm not complaining.

EJ: We were doing it at one point in time, and then we kept laughing at the end of our scenes. Eric: We were on a set, and someone said, Hey, what do you guys think about The Bad Batch? We were like, Oh God, we're shooting it right now. We shot it within three days, and it's only two and a half minutes long.

EJ: We were like, We're shooting this thing, and we're gonna put it out. Then we started talking to Eric, and he was like, Yeah, I'm gonna take it out. I'm not gonna do it. Then he made it, and he was like, I'm gonna make it a thing, let's just keep doing it. He just turned into the biggest prankster.
