How many episodes will bad batch Season 2 have?

Season 2 of Bad Batch was released yesterday.

I just wanted to know how many episodes would be in season 2? Will there be more than 15? How many seasons will it have? Thanks.

I'll give the answer now, and I think this thread should be moved to a better thread. The reason I say this is because it's already been said but I still want to say it: "Bad Batch has been renewed for a full second season on Comedy Central". So that means they will make more episodes than Season 1 which meant there were 15 episodes in the first season.

However, this does not mean that Season 2 of Bad Batch will be any longer than 15 episodes (though I think it probably will be). They usually end a show at 13 or 14 episodes.

There have been a few oddities like "Til Death Do Us Part" being 22 episodes. But that was made by accident I believe. And I really don't think it will happen again. It was such a short sitcom. If they keep it going they will make more episodes than a standard 13 episode sitcom. Like "South Park" they will make new episodes even after the show goes off the air.

The only other show that may make more episodes than Season 1 of Bad Batch is "MADtv" which has been making 13 episodes a season (the past couple of seasons). "Mad TV" also ran out of ideas after the second season and never aired again. So, 13 episodes is probably a good length for "Mad TV" to make.

On average, a sitcom will only make 10 episodes in season 1. So, there will be 19 episodes in Season 2. In most cases, there will only be 13 episodes in season 2. Which could lead you to believe that season 1 of "Bad Batch" had a lot of filler. Which it did. But then, it has the best title of a sitcom I've ever seen (which was the whole point). So, it wouldn't hurt to have some filler in a very good show.

I think that we are getting spoiled as a fanbase about good shows. I can understand that. But it's getting pretty annoying about the new bad batch.

Like I've said before, the fact that we all get worked up over a show that had a lot of filler is kind of ridiculous.

What days do bad batch episodes come out?

I have some friends who are addicted to watching the bad episodes of Family Guy because it's good, but too dark and twisted for their little kids.

They can't understand what is wrong with all the jokes they don't get because they're just not mature enough to grasp even the slightest bit of content. They are like the old lady that wouldn't talk to her grand kids because they weren't as smart as she was. You would never want to hang out with her and yet she was perfectly happy in her little bubble.

And like Family Guy, you never see the old lady again. It's not about the quality, it's about the delivery, it's a lack of empathy and maturity. These are things that can't be corrected.

And if we start giving them a hard time for all of this, well, then maybe they will realize it and learn from their mistakes. That just seems like a fair thing to do.

But at least they know they have a bad batch of Family Guy episodes once a week or less. And they're willing to accept that.

I think a big part of the reason the 'bad' batches come out less often now (or, at least for our family) has to do with us being busy and on different shifts on the days we're missing episodes. If were watching on the same day every week, it'd be easy to remember when the shows are on and just watch them.

Of course I also get the chance to see episodes at work as well, which I definitely don't want to see any more of than I already do on the days it's on! The way we're watching it means we need a new batch of episodes every 4-5 weeks or so, though. It's pretty stressful if it happens every 2 weeks when the episodes are on a different date every time.

Will bad batch be released weekly?

I'm planning to have 1 bad batch (in terms of content) per week. There is a high probability that I'm running into issues with the servers that hosts the content and having things released before they're ready could hurt my reputation.

How does this work? A bad batch is one that is not finished, but I can continue releasing it while it's in beta state and even as it's still under development. This bad batch will be released at about 0:00 CEST every week. You'll be able to see that bad batch at some point during that day, but there is a small chance that you might get the actual bad batch after the release (but you'll know it's a bad batch).

The bad batch that is released before the start of a new week is the last bad batch that week. This bad batch is then released during the next week, so it's effectively like every week you have a new bad batch.

Are those batches available for those who don't own them yet or do you get them just for those who already own them? If it's only for those who already own them then that would mean that all of us would get a new batch. It seems kind of weird to only release them for those who already own them and there would be huge demand for the new ones.

It makes sense if it's only for those who already own them, however I was under the impression that you would have to own them in order to get them. I would assume the difference is the same as a paid/discounted item.

I'm curious how you plan to make a bad batch. Does it take several days? Will you announce it early and then the release would happen only later? If so I don't understand what's the purpose of that. It would seem like a normal release cycle should be much shorter.

Do you plan to have different releases every week? 1 month, 1 week, 3 days? I'm not sure how to deal with what would seem like your last release being before the start of a new week. Perhaps just a note saying "This bad batch isn't yet done". Then people would go to the next release at the start of the week, you would only need to announce it at the start of the next week.
