I recently signed up for the Blue Cash Everyday CC with 20,000 bonus miles. Can you tell me the total price and how much is cash back if I do nothing for the life of the account? Does Citi charge interest on loans or just late fees? I have a Discover Platinum card that I use regularly for groceries, groceries for the apartment and gas for the car but I rarely actually carry a balance. I don't use any cash back features since I've only used it for purchases and not late fees. It is about time that I use the cash back feature though because it looks like they've dropped to 6% after introductory APR (which was 5%) but I can't really remember. I'm also interested in getting one of those gift cards and paying for it with the new gift card that doesn't seem to be too widely adopted here on the forum yet.

Is it ok to use a loan account (I thought most places would consider it borrowing money which is against their terms and conditions) to cover purchases until my statement comes in? This account isn't even a checking account so does that void this "loan"? Are there terms and conditions that I am forgetting? I read some articles and all these cards say something about you can't transfer points to another card so this is how I understand it as I do try to use that card a lot. I'm just trying to figure out whether I'm following the rules properly and I'm probably overlooking something. Thanks.
