How do I turn off less secure app access?

Why are less secure apps not available for my account?

Note that we recommend that you keep some apps on your device unless you know that they are safe to keep on your phone.

Note that some apps have built-in functionality for security as shown below. To learn more about how to turn this on and off, and find links to help improve security for your apps, see Improve your security for your apps.

If you would like to help us reduce security issues in your apps, please see Reducing known and emerging issues in your apps. How do I see a list of my apps? Select Account Details. In the Account Overview section, click More App settings, to open the screen shown in the following figure: If you decide to keep an app, it can no longer be removed.
