I am still looking for a way to use a private vpn to use my own Internet. However the problem is when I use google Chromes settings to enter my wifi, it seems like "there" doesn't exist even though I am able to connect to it in the phone setting with the same mobile internet and the same IP. I know this is not a normal thing.

Could someone please guide me to the solution? I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, running android 5.1 version on this device.

Thanks in advance. This is a feature (it's actually called IP forwarding) that can be turned on or off in your router. If turned off, the router will simply pass all traffic through unchanged to the LAN.

On a residential router there is a simple way to turn it off. There is a configuration page that allows you to turn off the "Forwarding" capability and that should do it. To access this page, look for the Network Management page and find the Advanced link under the Forwarding tab. When this option is active, a checkbox labeled "Allow forwarding from outside interface addresses" will appear at the bottom of the page. That's how you turn it off.

Why can't my Mac connect to the internet if the VPN is on?

I have 2 Windows machines connected to the same VPN.

Both have an Ethernet card and can connect to the internet fine when the VPN is off, but when the VPN is on they both cannot connect to the internet (it gets stuck at "establishing connection" and then just stays there). The computers can't see each other's VPN network either - it won't ping them, or even see their IPv6 address - so I have no way of knowing what their gateway would be (if you can't ping your own gateway you can't reach any other IPs. Neither Mac can find a DHCP server for the network, I tried enabling it with the VPN off but it still doesn't work when the VPN is on.

Any ideas? You seem to have answered the question yourself. Are you trying to use your iPhone as a wireless bridge for your Macs? That's probably not going to work very well. My iPhone only goes up to about 15 feet in the air. If I were able to get it up to that height, I'd get better coverage. As it is, it's only good enough to bridge one WiFi network. It might work for one network, or it might work for three networks, but it's pretty well known that it will not work reliably for more than one WiFi network.
