You should try the local New York affiliate which is in the same "time zone" as the other Telemundo stations in your area. The New York affiliate may not be available if you're in North Carolina or South Carolina. The NY affiliate will have both local news and live programming. If you're outside the U., there's the Mexican version.
You'll need to be connected to wifi in order to receive the NY broadcast. You can't watch it on your iPad or iPhone as long as the screen is on. The quality of the New York broadcast is the best quality I've seen.
