I am curious to know if MLB.

TV is included with your Amazon Prime subscription?99 for the year. I did sign up for it on October 12th. I haven't had time to watch any games or even check it out yet. I'd love to be able to watch a few games at home in HD when I get home from work and school. I would also love to be able to watch college basketball or any other sports that aren't included on my Roku service right now.)

What's the point of getting it on an iPhone or iPad, since it can't be used as a portable device? What's the point of paying for MLB. There are so many free alternatives, why would someone pay for a subscription if they can just watch free MLB.tv videos online.

I'm not sure about that, I just have it on my phone and computer and it works. I also have it on my Roku, Xbox 360, and Apple TV.

It's true that if you are looking to stream from your phone or tablet you have plenty of options like fuboTV or SlingTV which are free and will do most anything you could ever want out of streaming, but some people want to sit back in their living room and watch their games with their friends over the phone. For me, I don't want to be at the computer all the time, I want to be able to watch whenever I want.

The fact that you can only access the ESPN apps via an iOS device or tablet makes no sense whatsoever. ESPN should be made available on every platform that can access the internet, which is more than a few. I would argue that any device with a browser should have access to the same ESPN apps as any other device.

Is MLB.TV the same as MLB Network?

I have a question about the MLB.

TV service that I would like to get answer for, but I am not sure if I am using the right terminology.

I am trying to watch a specific team game and the only option that I am able to select is MLB Network. I have MLB Network on my cable package as well as the MLB Network app on my iPhone.

When I try to watch a specific team game, I am getting the following message: "You do not have access to this game. It's currently not available on TV, but you can watch it online at mlb.tv".

I am not sure if I am using the correct terminology. If MLB.TV is the same as MLB Network, then I am using the correct terminology. Can someone please help me figure out how to watch this game?

The MLB Network is a subscription service that shows games on a wide variety of devices, while MLB.TV is a streaming service that you can access from any device with an internet connection.
