How do I manage my Google Account in Chrome?

I've been having some issues with managing my google account when logged into my google chrome profile.

First thing's first, you need a google account you can see google info. At this point you will probably be asked to verify your phone number, just press 'continue' and then 'Done'. You then have to verify your phone number by texting some digits to that phone number and it will send an automated text back, you'll need your chrome app, just tap that to see what the number was. If it says 'Unavailable' just ignore it.

After that (if it worked), you can now log into your google account through chrome again, I'm sure there are a bunch of different ways to log into it, here's what mine does (chrome 40.x): Open up your google account. Click on your picture in the top right (or whatever it is on yours). Then open up 'sign into chrome', and make a note of the 'Email and password' fields (the fields to change if you don't want your info out there). Open up the app settings. Click on your user id. Click on your photo again. Click on 'Use same account on all browsers'. You'll be taken to the other account settings. If you've forgotten the password (this is where it gets tricky), google won't send a password back, so the only way to reset it is by going to the next screen. Log in there, and change your password!

Why do I have to sign in to view a video on the new "YouTube Kids" app? What exactly am I signing in to? A search feature allows users to search for anything on the web, from videos on YouTube to local shops and restaurants. You'll get answers on the first page of results, without having to load any extra information into your browser. Google will take a small cut of the revenue from the ads you see. The rest goes to you.

It's a neat feature, which is why it's available now. But it's also another sign of how Google is doing everything it can to take over the web.

The other, less well-known feature allows users to sync their browser history between their devices, allowing them to access it from their phone, tablet or laptop. It's very much like Apple's built-in "Safari History" feature, and it's something the company's been talking about for some time.

Google is trying to get you to use its browser, not just view the things you want to view in it. But it's more than that. It's Google saying: "Look, we're on your side, we want to help you, not try and sneakily take over your browser."

The company has, effectively, created a more direct relationship with its users, and there are a lot of benefits in doing so. People love the convenience of having their browsing history in the cloud; the fact that they can access it from almost anywhere. And Google understands that people aren't always going to trust it - they'll want to look at what they've typed.

How do I manage who has access to my Google Account?

By default, if you are a Google Apps customer, you can configure your account settings to give access to your accounts, such as your G-suite email, to other members of your organization.

These members must then use your @gservice.com email address and have a Google username.

When you log in to your Google Account, the first time you access your account, you'll be prompted for the email address and password associated with your Google Account. Then, at the bottom of the main Google login page () you'll find a drop-down menu that lets you choose which users can sign in to your account.

Note: When you access the Sign In page for the first time after enabling 2-factor authentication, you'll be prompted to enable the account again. This is because you need to have access to your Google Account to use the second factor on your phone.

How do I add more users to my organization? Before you can add users to your organization, you'll first need to verify your current email address. Go to gmail.com and verify your email address.

Go to www.google.com/admin/settings/ads/authenticate. Click Enable two-step verification for the email address you wish to verify. The next screen will show your two-step verification code, which you will need to enter on the phone app. If your phone is unable to process the two-step verification code, you'll receive an error message, or an SMS message will be sent to the number that is listed as your mobile phone.

Next, go to the account settings page. In your admin panel, click on Users. Click on Add user. Enter a username and click Save. You now have created a new user that has access to your organization and their own individual Google Account. Note: A Google username is required when adding a new user to your organization. An email address will not work. You must add a Google username as well as an email address.

What does it mean when an app has access to your Google Account?

Apps should only have access to account data that is strictly necessary for their operation.

Any user-specific content such as your name, email address, and posts to a user's profile (known as profile data) should be stored in Google servers in different location than any shared non-sensitive information such as your contact list or Google Photos.
