How do I fix Psiphon failed to set system proxy settings?

I am trying to install Psiphon 7 on my desktop but every time I try to run it fails and I can not figure out what the problem is. I have tried downloading the file again but it does not work any more either. I have a wireless network so the computer should be able to connect to the internet. I even tried to create another wireless network and nothing seems to work. Please if anybody can give me a suggestion on what to do or how to fix this issue that would be great!

Hi, Myself just like you when installed a free program on my system. It was ok till I closed the program, I don't know the problem it was giving and hence I am not sure what to do next. There are many similar problems on our forum but the solutions given never helped me. I always end up getting all these problems solved with just one click of mouse. If you can get it solved by following some instructions mentioned in other threads then surely it will be helpful for you too. Thank you.

I don't know why but the program just crashes, as soon as I open it up, I just got a pop-up saying Program has stopped working and you need to restart your PC, I tried to look for the solution on Google but I didn't find anything that worked out. I found a suggestion of going to my control panel and then doing a scan for viruses. It showed that Not Detected with all sorts of red marks. I did a System restore back to the date I installed it and it didn't help. So, basically I am stuck and don't know what to do next. I downloaded psiphon and installed it on my laptop, it installed well. But then every time I start it or launch it from app menu, it fails with error code. I don't know what to do now as it only started yesterday. It failed without any sort of notification. Please help me to solve this problem as it's my main software at home. I had no connection issues before installing this. Thanks.

I installed it on my pc a few days ago and it worked fine until I restarted and then I had to download it again. I had no internet since the first time installed it. I tried running it without a proxy and it failed.

What do I need to do to be able to use Psiphon to play some of the games that I have? Psiphon is an app that you download and install on your jailbroken iPhone. Once installed, you can send and receive data as usual, but when using certain apps such as Netflix or Vudu, you can use a "proxy" to actually be connected to the Internet as though you were on a normal 3G connection.

The only thing you'll need to do to "connect" to the Internet is to download the Psiphon app and set it up on your iPhone. Psiphon is available for free at the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

While the app isn't available in the App Store for Android, Google has started offering a similar service called "NetFlix Now". It's also completely free for consumers, though only allows certain movies and TV shows to be streamed (including Netflix).

What is the proxy setting for Psiphon?

I'm trying to download video streaming from the app, but it is asking for an internet connection setting.

Edit: when the download finishes, we save the video to our phones, but I've never seen the file format saved as "AVI". It's always been in .mp4.

In psiphon mobile app, there is no option for selecting which apps to download the content. We are still working on this option. The app will be more than happy to provide information on that feature.
