What is QuickMemo on Android?
QuickMemo was initially developed for Apple's Mac platform in 2025.
However, it soon came to Android too, and is now an awesome productivity tool that provides a simple, fun, and elegant way to create quick notes.
QuickMemo is an app which allows you to create sticky notes by pinching your screen. It contains the feature to automatically resize the textbox to match the size of your hand with different gestures such as double tap. The app also has its own keyboard that you can attach to your taskbar.
What are all the basic features of QuickMemo on Android? A simple note-taking app with a beautiful design. One-tap sticky note creation. Attachments. Quick Search. The ability to create quick notes with the keyboard. An easy way to access existing notes or other information. All your sticky notes are organized in lists to make them easy to find. Supports creating and organizing many types of notes such as reminders, to-do lists, and calendar events. Manage your lists by arranging them into folders to create sub-lists. You can tag your notes to help them find later. Quick Memo's interface: The QuickMemo screen is divided into two parts: the left side is a home screen where you have access to all the various tabs. The right side is reserved for the various features of the app.
Your default list where you can create notes and attach photos, voice notes, reminders, videos, and files. Your favorite lists so you can manage the notes you created. You can even rearrange the lists when you find them annoying or difficult to follow.
This will be the area where you will create your notes, edit them, and create more lists. Your sticky notes screen is composed of a sticky note screen where you can view and modify your notes as well as attach additional information. You can tap on the sticky note's header to remove it. In the center of this area is the text box where you enter your text. It is divided into two areas that are visible when the keyboard is displayed. You can simply start writing and everything will appear in the text area.
You can access your keyboard with a double click.
Where are QuickMemo files stored on Android?
I am working on a project which needs to store some data in a file, and I would like to use QuickMemo as the storage.
It has to be a non-encrypted text file. The problem is that I don't know where it's stored.
QuickMemo uses a temporary directory. On a rooted device it will be /data/com.android.providers.telephony/files/
And on a non-rooted device it will be. /data/com.telephony/files/ as the root user. You can use DDMS to find out the contents of the directory (assuming you have an SD card inserted).
Where did my QuickMemo go?
I just bought the newest version of Apple Aperture.
After my new computer arrives in about a week, I downloaded the new version onto my desktop. I created my first photo session on my new computer yesterday. When I went to view all of the photos this morning, I realized that the photos that I had been working on for the past two weeks were completely gone from my desktop. I checked in the applications menu and saw that the QuickMemo program is listed there. When I click on it, it takes me to an empty window. Where did it go? Did Apple remove the program from their newest version of Aperture?
Did Apple remove the QuickMemo program? Did you buy and install the newest version of the software? I used it exclusively until yesterday. I have never experienced any of these problems. I did have a couple of the "Aperture Pro" error messages pop up but I have not experienced the QuickMemo problem you mentioned.
Thanks for your replies. I checked the Applications folder. The folder "QuickMemo" doesn't exist. I checked on my new computer and it also has the same "quick memo" folder. It was previously located in my applications folder and when I installed the new version of Aperture, it changed my applications folder to applications1-4. If I move the folder to the applications folder again, it won't work. Thanks for the replies.
I finally figured out what happened to my QuickMemo program. It disappeared when I was taking pictures with my new digital camera. I had my phone plugged in with my new camera in order to record my new photos onto the SD card. I moved the camera's memory card to my old computer and the QuickMemo was no longer in my applications folder. I deleted the QuickMemo folder and now my memory card shows up in my applications folder! The camera didn't take it with me but at least I know what happened. Thanks for your help.
I can't figure out how to find your thread so I'll add my input here. First, thanks for your help. I was able to re-install QuickMemo and it is working now. However, I am trying to understand how to use this particular program. I see no way of adding images from my camera to my computer in "Manage Photos in Aperture". Is there a special trick to getting them into Aperture?
How do I transfer memos from LG to Samsung?
I've been using LG for years, but today I had a meeting at our company where I couldn't find my phone, and after hours of frantically looking everywhere, I finally found it.
The first thing I did was to download my memos from LG.
When I opened the files, it came up as Microsoft word, so I couldn't open them on Android. Next, I tried to use the Samsung app, and when I did, the text turned to a different font and it was all in a smaller font. I've used other LG apps that didn't recognize my LG phones or work well for me, so I'm wondering if I have the app downloaded from the official LG site or something, as I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Anybody know how to fix this? If you want to transfer messages from one LG phone to another via Bluetooth that worked good for me. 1) Turn bluetooth on both phones. 2) On one of your phones, connect the bluetooth to the paired phone/tablet (it will show up in the notification area of the bluetooth icon in the status bar). It will then pop up a device selector - select the target phone/tablet as well.
3) Turn on BT on the target phone. It will now appear on the connection screen of the sender. If it's not already visible in the notification area, you will need to manually turn on BT. Also, the connection won't be encrypted unless you've set it up for secure connections.
4) Click on the target phone icon. It should ask if it can open the bttool on your target device. It will also give you options to "backup", "restore" etc., just make sure you use option 1 to "send/receive" and choose "text messages" in the list that comes up.
5) Your target will then go to the send/receive screen of SMS settings. Press on the message you want to send/receive and go to the next screen. It will show you which phone is it, and a confirmation that you have connected successfully will come up. Your message should be transferred to the recipient's phone without a problem.
It works too, for those curious. I have some issues connecting my 2LG with my Samsung.
