How do I cancel my CyberGhost subscription and get a refund?

I have a CyberGhost account that I've used for several years now.

One of my subscriptions has expired, and I don't want to pay for a new one since I've already got the program and would rather not spend the money to upgrade. Is there any way I can get a refund on the previous subscription?

I have to agree with the above poster. It's too bad you are out of luck on this one. I've used CyberGhost for almost 8 years with absolutely no problems. And the site is very secure. In short, you are lucky your trial lasted only 3 days. (Not to mention they also make their money charging you for the service.) If they had a customer service staff that would actually speak to you over the phone, you might have been more than pleased. But sadly that isn't the case.

I've just been checking out some of the reviews for CyberGhost in forums like this one. I've come across an article which states "CyberGhost does not have any form of customer support whatsoever and all of their tech support is handled via phone".

So it seems after all there is little hope for a refund on the premium account? There was no way to cancel the subscription before the trial expired. I wish i'd read the thread more closely before downloading.

I was having issues with my internet the first month I got the free trial, since then I have been fine. The only time I needed the help of CyberGhost was when I needed to change my proxy. Now I can change it every morning without anything wrong. I also got an automatic monthly renewal for that subscription. After that everything worked perfectly fine.

So my question is, how would you handle the case that the subscription didn't renew automatically and the company doesn't offer a refund? Is there something I'm missing or is that what they did in your case? They didn't give you any option other than accepting the free trial again, so you were stuck until it expired again and the second trial was active?
