Do Grace Digital radios still work?
If the radio fails, what options do you have?
I just came across an article written by Matt Richardson in which he stated that Grace Digital radios will not be made anymore. I am curious to know if this is still true. He also says that Grace Digital radios are becoming increasingly harder to find, and they may be hard to find for a long time to come. This is a very interesting statement. If anyone has any information regarding this statement, please let me know.
Re: Grace Digital radios still work? Matt said this a while back and is not saying it any more. There is no reason to think he has changed his mind. My advice is to wait and see if it happens or not. If it does, it is already too late. You can get a working radio from eBay or something.
I also found that Matt Richardson on his website said that Grace Digital radios are no longer being made. It does seem that people who like to collect radios are starting to get a hard time finding them because of the demise of Grace Digital. I am sure someone will find them somewhere, but, like you said, they will be harder to find.
I used to have a Grayscale radio, but, it is hard to find. I remember spending hours searching for one. Now, I don't worry about where I can find a Grace digital radio.
Grace Digital radios are not extinct, they just made the mistake of going into a different line of business (their first, was portable radio, their second, was car radio).
How do I pair my Grace Digital?
Here's a good idea if you haven't yet paired the Grace Smart Bluetooth Headphones.
This way you only have to do it once.
If you can see your head on the Grace smart display, make sure that the smart bluetooth headset is in "pairing mode". Step 1: You will see a menu like this one: Step 2: If you want to pair the Grace smart headphones with your smartwatch, tap on the "pair smartheadphones" button. Step 3: After the pairing process is over, if the smart headset icon (the grey circle) starts flashing green, the phone and watch are now paired. It only takes a couple of seconds, even when paired for the first time.
Step 4: When the smart headbts connected to the phone, the display of the watch shows that the bluetooth connection is active. If the smart bluetooth headset (grey circle) starts flashing red, the phone is not paired or the connection to the phone is too weak. Tap on "Disconnect" button to resolve the issue.
I'm stuck at step 4. My smart phone can see the watch with all my contacts but when I click either the name of my girlfriend on the phone's contact list that she has on her watch or mine, it doesn't bring up the names on the watch side to match.
Same issue here. I just tried again a week ago, same thing, but then I changed my phone's data plan and it no longer happens. The phone can see my watch, all contact names and numbers, etc. Just that when I pair the two via the Grace Smart app on the phone, none of the names from my watch show up on my phone's contact list, they all do appear on the contact list on the watch but not the other way around.
It's very frustrating as I was having issues with music on my watch stopping when I paired with the phone as well. My question: What should I be expecting as an update to the pairing issue - if at all? Does anybody have a quick fix that might help me with that? Hi there. I have the same problems like you: phone can see my watch, but the names doesn't match. If I sync with wifi, I can see my new entries on watch but not in mobile.
