It works on the nexus S on verizon and I think it was on all the other android devices. You can see it in the test settings under mobile network -> speed test and it shows all data as unlimited. I also believe it's something that has been removed from the nexus s and I know it was on some other models of the galaxy s.

The G2 does show it as being a hotspot feature in the test settings. There is not actually any hotspot data to be utilized, though. The G2 only provides the limited capacity, so there is no way to consume that in real life unless the phone is connected to the phone line.
