Does T-Mobile have an unlimited hotspot?
I have a friend who's new to wireless and I'm trying to convince him to go with T-Mobile.
My question is, can T-Mobile have an unlimited hotspot that I can use with my iPad or Android tablet, and if so how do I go about setting it up? Answers. No, T-Mobile does not have an unlimited hotspot. But you will be limited to 150 minutes of data per month. This is for all data you use on your personal hotspot.
Also, T-Mobile does not support tethering over 3G, but it is possible to tether to a computer or smartphone. But the best way to go is to get a smartphone that is unlocked and use a SIM card from T-Mobile (or another carrier) when you are outside of your home or work network. That way, your phone will use their network (and not a tower in the middle of nowhere).
If you want to use your personal hotspot on your phone, you can get a SIM card from any carrier. T-Mobile doesn't have an official one, but there are third party options.
I've been using T-Mobile's Personal Hotspot for a few months now, and I really like it. It's cheap, fast, and it has an easy-to-use interface. I also like that it has a number of handy features, including the ability to turn off data (while you're out) and the ability to turn on WiFi even when you're not connected to a network.
My only complaint is that T-Mobile doesn't allow you to use your Personal Hotspot as your default wireless network. Instead, you have to connect it to a Wi-Fi network first. But I think this is a minor issue. I don't use my Personal Hotspot as my primary connection to the Internet. Instead, I just use it to get back to the Wi-Fi network I'm already connected to at home.
I'd recommend T-Mobile's Personal Hotspot to anyone looking for an easy-to-use, cheap, fast hotspot. It is not exactly an unlimited hotspot. As someone said, it only lets you use up 150mb per month. If you use all of that, then that's it.
Is T-Mobile still doing free hotspot?
This is a discussion on ?
Within the Off Topic & Humor Discussion forums, part of the The Back Porch category; I can't seem to find anything on the internet about this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I've been with Tmobile for a few years now and when I signed up I got a free hotspot. Ive used it once or twice and it has been several years since I have used it. I don't know if the free hotspot is still available or not. But if anyone knows, please post.

T-Mobile and AT&T are both using a new standard for the hotspot, which they call Wi-Fi Calling. I'm assuming that means that there's a phone in the house that's connected to the Internet through Wi-Fi calling, but that phone will work as a hotspot. It's called Wi-Fi Calling because the phone does all the talking when it calls another phone. It's pretty neat, but I don't think it will replace regular cell phones.
Yes it is.
How to get a hotspot for free?
I don't want to pay for internet, wifi connection. I tried to get hotspots for free but didn't work for me. Could you please explain how to get free internet via wifi connection? Is it possible?
Thanks! Hi.e. I was going to tell you, that, as you know, you can't connect to the unsecured wifi without some sort of hardware or software (on your computer). The only way is a dongle; but I'm sorry for you - no such device and, according to me, none exists. Perhaps the best answer is to buy an ordinary router or stick with cable internet/data. I hope it helps. Good luck
